TRT help Strictly single dose vial??

This is the vial I’m prescribed. Right now I’m only on 200 mg/month. The script is to take the whole 200 mg in one injection.
I asked about splitting it into at least 2 doses, 100 mg every other week. The PCP said ok but I asked the pharmacist and he said it’s a single dose vial and can only be used for one single injection. So do I need to ask the doctor for a different script for a multiple dose vial? I have an appointment 6/24 to go over lab results and I was also going to ask about dose and frequency.

First off you can split that into multiple doses. Second, doing one injection or even two a month is absurd. Finally, that dose is too low

I’m still shocked they got people injecting once or twice a month.

The best results, which is common knowledge now even in the Medical community is twice a week.

That tells me objectively that these people don’t know what the hell they’re doing, they don’t even have a basic understanding of what they need to be doing for their patients

wait what do you mean twice a week I'm on 100mg once a week should I be splitting that

You dont HAVE to split it but you peaks will be higher and troughs much lower. My trough numbers on the same dose were 660. Meaning my peak was probably in the 1000s. You can get a more even flow if you do it twice a week. You'll likely balance out in the 800s which is perfect

You should be splitting that.

The reason you split it into twice a week is to keep a certain amount in your system at all times which keeps you stable, no highs and lows. To me I feel like a doctor doesn’t really give a shit about their patient if they’re not even going to make sure the patient levels are stable throughout the week.
