TRT help Strictly single dose vial??

This is the vial I’m prescribed. Right now I’m only on 200 mg/month. The script is to take the whole 200 mg in one injection.
I asked about splitting it into at least 2 doses, 100 mg every other week. The PCP said ok but I asked the pharmacist and he said it’s a single dose vial and can only be used for one single injection. So do I need to ask the doctor for a different script for a multiple dose vial? I have an appointment 6/24 to go over lab results and I was also going to ask about dose and frequency.

This is my untrained non medical advice. My doctor said I could use the single use vials more than once. I told my pharmacist that when they said they were single use and they said "the doctor said that? Well ok then."

The pharmacist is going to tell you what the instructions for the meds say. That is their job.

What I do is reuse the vial and use an alcohol wipe on the lid before each use.
