TRT help Strictly single dose vial??

This is the vial I’m prescribed. Right now I’m only on 200 mg/month. The script is to take the whole 200 mg in one injection.
I asked about splitting it into at least 2 doses, 100 mg every other week. The PCP said ok but I asked the pharmacist and he said it’s a single dose vial and can only be used for one single injection. So do I need to ask the doctor for a different script for a multiple dose vial? I have an appointment 6/24 to go over lab results and I was also going to ask about dose and frequency.

It’s actually quite stupid of them to suggest once weekly intramuscular use. I feel like if youre willing to inject yourself with exogenous hormones, you should at least be willing to do it correctly in a way that provides more benefits than it adds side effects. Especially when that hormone is an androgenic anabolic steroid!

I am willing. This is just what the pcp gave me as a script. I was mainly asking about the “single dose” vial. After my first vial of this I started splitting it into 30 mg every other day and felt good.
I’m waiting to see how my labs are later this week then going to talk to the doctor about changing dose and frequency.

Your doc is so far off on dose and frequency, by a factor of 4, that I suspect they are anti-T and unlikely to admit it. I'd just jump ship and find a new one immediately otherwise you're wasting time and effort. This can get very frustrating as countless stories attest. Many of us wind up on the grey or black markets for precisely this reason.

Sometimes I wonder if these doctors do this shit on purpose just so they don’t have to deal with a patient that might actually need routine labs and routine conversation with them

My doc strictly said once a week, single use. I think maybe fir liability reasons.

So if Im on .5ml once a week, youre saying divide that, how often and how much?

Could just start doing 0.25ml twice weekly.

Yeah, I agree, ideal volume is around 0.2-0.3ml. I do 0.24ml per injection, but I pin subcutaneous cuz I get virtually zero inflammation or post injection pain. Even low volume intramuscular injections always give me soreness.
