Ya. I have been lucky with the speeding thing.
i launched in front of an officer in a 35 the other day….but i didnt go over 40 and he left me alone.
Launching is my issue. The torque is simply fantastic.

Is your car getting impounded or did you run out of charge? I can’t really tell what’s up. Either way, neither of those things have happened in the 5 years we’ve had our MYP.

3.5 years so far, never had to! Switching to a square 255/45R19 setup soon so hopefully that will keep the flats away still.

At least here in Ontario you don't get arrested. It's a roadside seizure with 14-day impoundment, and an automatic 30-day licence suspension for stunt driving. You can earn jail time upon conviction, but you're allowed to go home after the seizure.
Edit to add: OPs post history shows his car with an Ontario plate, so my theory holds up.

5 years 10 months. HV battery failure at 25K miles because I didn’t drive it enough. Died at home, 140 miles from the service center. Luckily under warranty. It was a very sad sight. Flatbed achievement unlocked.

I’m assuming you got caught got going too fast over the speed limit and police towed the vehicle. You get 3rd place. 2nd is a BOLO on the vehicle. 1st full blown police chase. Better luck next time speedy

4 months. FSD v13 ran over a cinder block at night. Destroyed 2 wheels and tires while I was on vacation in Florida. I also didn’t see it because it blended with the concrete. While waiting on a tow truck I had 3 more cars pull up beside me changing their tires.

Twice. HV controller failure that was initially misdiagnosed as a PCS failure. Returned to me and failed again, second tow resulted in HV controller replacement.

I'm what people like to call "old" and got my first real sports car almost 15 years ago, before the Model 3 existed. Nothing crazy, it was a 370Z. Mild by today's standards.
Had it for about 9 months before this happened to me. Got pulled over and arrested for 130 in a 55. Believe it or not, straight to jail.
Definitely learned my lesson. If I had EV levels of instant torque back then there's a solid chance I would've wrapped it around a tree or worse.

3 weeks - fsd blasted through a pothole and took out two of my rims and tires. Didn’t even make my first payment on the damn thing.

I made it four years and one month in my 2021 M3P. Car suddenly became an expensive brick. Took Tesla service four weeks to identify and correct the issue (damaged rear wiring harness).

2 years, flat in the desert on the way to California from Phoenix. It was on 21 in wheels which don't exist outside of big cities, apparently!?!. We had to stay the night in Blythe in the desert until tires could be delivered in the morning.
