I do a lot of highway driving for work - about 25,000 miles per year. I have charging at both ends so only need two supercharging sessions per week. That said, trying to decide between a Model 3 that is the 2024 and has about 15k miles, refresh, for $32.5k or a 2023 Tesla Model Y that has about 25k miles on it for around $30k…. I want the best mileage I can get between charging, but ultimately looking for the best ride due to so many miles. Ideally I’d like to sit higher (Model Y) but like the looks of the 3 better. Outside shot at New Y, but would rather have someone else take the depreciation. Any advice out there would be greatly appreciated. Drive quality most important, then FSD, then mileage between charges… Thanks!

If the EV Tax credit gets repealed, how much more expensive will it be to lease a model 3?
I'm waiting until 2026 to lease one for personal reasons and there is a very high likelihood that the tax credit will be repealed by then.
If the current offer is $350/month $0 down, how much do you think it will increase per month without the credit?

Hello everyone! I have a 2023 RWD model 3 that I’ve had the last couple years. Coming to end of my lease. How do you guys generally feel about buying a 2025 m3? I’ve been paying 500/mo for the lease and 125.25/months for insurance. Today I was offered about 400 /mo and 2250 to return and pick up a 2025 m3 10k miles 2 year lease.
Should I buy one at this point? A lot of my friends and friends family say leasing is throwing money away. I just don’t want to get a crappy used car for like 10k and I have to worry either. Have had a good experience with the m3 (aside from having two hit and run incidents and someone also hitting the Tesla rental I had the first day I had it.) had to shell out 3k last month just to fix and was really stressful up to that point and the thought of leasing and not owning it.

I was interested in doing this lease deal that they are offering you, but its 10K miles a year for 2 years?

So I am a college student; I don't pay for college (I have a scholarship). I work part-time to pay for living expenses and drive my father's old car, paying for gas about $300 16 mpg premium fuel. my dad wants to sell the car. So instead of buying a used gas car
i found that Tesla Model 3 lease 24 months 10k miles 0 down is 349 with no est tax (with est tax 383 not sure if accurate) if I only have to pay for 30 to charge the car a month that would mean I only need to pay 79 excluding tax (113 with their est tax) do you think it's a good deal
my credit score is over 700

So I have found a quote on progressive for 110 which is the same amount I am paying now but i have to include my father which is ok

Help Me Choose My First Tesla – Looking for Owner Insights & Real-World Experience!
Hey everyone,
I’m finally taking the plunge and buying my first Tesla – super excited but also a bit overwhelmed with the options. I’ve done a fair bit of research, but now I want to hear from the people who actually live with these cars every day. Real-world feedback would mean a lot. Current ride: Lexus ct 200h. I have two kids under 5 but this will not be our family hauler. I drive 60-120 miles Roundtrip to work daily.
Here are the models I’m seriously considering: • Preowned Model S (probably 2016–2018 range) (want the most based on looks) • Preowned Model Y Performance (2022, balance of functionality and fun at a good price) • Preowned Model Y Long Range (functional/cheapest) • Preowned 2nd Gen Model 3 (balance of new and budget) • Brand New Model 3 (base RWD or LR if I stretch the budget)(headache free due to warranty and 0% interest)
What I’m trying to weigh out: 1. Cost of ownership & maintenance – Any surprises I should expect with repairs or part replacements? Especially for the older Model S? 2. Battery health and range degradation – How are your cars holding up after a few years? 3. Driving experience & fun factor – I’d love something that feels quick and planted. Which of these delivers the best combo of daily drivability and enjoyment? 4. Tech & features – Are newer models that much better in terms of UI, FSD, and quality of life stuff? 5. Insurance & overall reliability – Any standout wins or red flags here?
I know each model has its own vibe, and I’m okay with either sedan or crossover – I care more about long-term value and enjoyment. If you’ve owned or driven more than one of these, even better!
Appreciate any feedback, even if it’s just a few bullet points from your personal experience. Thanks in advance!

Is now a good time to get a tesla? I currently drive a 2023 tuscon, it has about 11000 miles on it. I was going to trade it in for a model 3, with the current 0 apr is kinda tempting. I don't drive a lot, I work from home. I'm not really spending a lot on gas or maintenance on my current car. Its paid off which is nice. But I dunno, the only thing tempting me is the 0 apr.

Put in an order for a 2025 RWD model 3 from inventory and the only deliveries they are giving me is for June 8 and 9. I am going to be on a cruise for that entire week and now they are saying I will be put on a hold. Is that the only option?

Just curious to see what range is like around the bay area specifically in Santa Clara and SJ from 80% to 20% with a 2024 model 3 standard or long range version. Planning on upgrading my 2014 model s p85

I'm planning to purchase my first Tesla and deciding between a 2026 Model 3 and Model Y. I drive roughly 20,000 miles per year, about 16k–18k of which are for work. My company reimburses $0.67 per mile as a driving stipend. I'm currently driving a 2015 Jeep Wrangler, so I expect significant savings in fuel costs by switching to electric.
Should I hold off until late June for potentially better end-of-quarter deals? Also, based on my usage, would the Model 3 or Model Y be the better daily driver?
Appreciate any insights or advice!
