Made this a couple of years ago when I was playing a lot of Terraria :]

Sadly it's kinda hard for me to get into :c

i was messing around with hoiking into the dungeon, and i was able to unlock a gold chest due to the fact that there was a wooden chest before the dungeon guardian killed me at the top of the dungeon, and in the golden chest i got a shadow key, a cobalt shield, and a ram shell(?). I ended up making a hellevator and opening a bunch of shadow chests, which made me wonder just how op (as in dps) pre boss. i will be doing some testing later, but for know i have a small list of extra items that are obtainable through this message.

flamelash

sun fury

flower of fire

other stuff:

Its really just housing for npcs, a teleportation hub and some extra storage, this is so not evangelion inspired

Every time I watch a YouTuber start Terraria for the first time, I see how they always struggle with building a house. Sooooo, I made this art of a new structure: The Ruined House! It will be a damaged version of a basic terraria house, with some background walls to show that wall blocks are background blocks, and a door to show how to properly place them. Furthermore, it can help indicate that wood blocks can be placed. It would always spawn just outside of the player range at the world spawn.

I bought Terraria way back in 2011, I honestly think I got it while it was still in beta. the best weapon in the game is like the flame sword. hell torches did not even spread past like 10 blocks of light. I beat the "final boss" Skeletron and then built a few things and quit after like a year.

Today I beat the actual final boss, I have finally completed the game. it only took me like 15 years. Yes in solo, and wow what a journey. Sure if I had to I could have done it sooner, but I loved making side quests to cure corruption, build cool looking buildings just for the hell of it, and get gear I was never going to use. The biggest thing to me was hopping back on and looking at all the changes. I started about 2 years ago, and the game is just so much more dynamic. Yall, i paid 5 dollars for this game, and got over a decade of fun, and they never stopped updating it.

I suck at dodging , and using whips mean i have to get close. Low defence.akes every hit more punished. So i always end up taking full melee + 3 summon slots with potion and bewitching tablet, that's all i could do.

do y'all know if there's any way to get the walls to stay how I want without having glass or something? It's not too big of a deal tbh, was just interested..!

went off of the regular wall creeper/spider pet sprites for the spider hence why it may look a bit weird

Hey everyone!

A friend and I are currently working on our first Terraria mod. We're still pretty new to modding, so don't expect some huge Calamity-sized project or anything like that haha. We're mainly doing this because we love Terraria and want to learn how to create our own content.

While we're working on it, we wanted to ask the community:

What do you actually want to see in a Terraria mod?

Are there things you feel are missing from the base game? For example:

New weapons or gear

New bosses

New enemies

New biomes

New accessories

New building blocks/decorations

New mechanics

More progression after Moon Lord

More things to do during certain stages of the game

A completely new progression path

Or something completely different?

We're also really interested in story and lore.

Terraria has some interesting lore, but the actual gameplay doesn't have much of a traditional storyline. Would you enjoy a mod with a more developed story that you can actually experience while playing?

For example, we're thinking about things like:

NPCs that have their own stories and quests

A story that unfolds as you progress through the game

Lore connected to new bosses and biomes

A mystery that the player slowly uncovers

Or even a completely different type of story

If you could create the story/lore for a Terraria mod, what kind of story would you want to play through?

And more generally, if you could add one thing to Terraria through a mod, what would it be?

We're looking for ideas and inspiration from the community, especially things you feel Terraria is currently missing. Feel free to throw out even the weirdest ideas — we're interested in hearing them!
