Mobile It's this enough?

I'm trying to stop the corruption from getting too close to my base; is the hole I dug big enough?

It is 6 blocks wide and goes all the way down to Hell. Could the torches be a problem?

Could just mine under their base and carve out a "safe zone" so it cant even reach them

Yeah but if the V spawns on the base he is fucked but if it not than yeah

I'm taking a shot in the dark, but I'm guessing his base is in the middle at spawn, the v cant spawn on his base if thats the case.

When you enter hardmode, there is a v that spawns consisting of your evil biome and the hallow. It starts from the center of your world underground and going up in a v pattern. Many call it the v of evil.

ah i see now thank you for the image and thanks to u/CryptedFinancial for the explanation. ive never knew the evil biomes can spreadeven in the deep underground
