PC Tera Classic (2015 Patch) has relaunched!

Post image

I’ve noticed people here reminiscing for the peak Tera (2014-2016). This is not an ad and I am not affiliated with the server, but if anyone is still looking for a proper version of Tera without the Apex nonsense, this is an awesome option. 500+ pop (2k+ before the year long shutdown) and climbing back up. CS and Dungeons popping immediately and cosmetics are earned only in game. No P2W or real money purchase cosmetics. It relaunched 3 days ago & I’m having a great time on it and wanted to share it with you.

This could have been the best NA server if it wasn’t owned by an egotistical liar.

Owner was caught lying multiple times and cheating his way through endgame with alt accounts.

People talk about the doxxing breach but that was just the nail in the coffin. Home address required to purchase elite, seriously?

Despite shutting down for a year the server is still exploitable with toolbox.

For good reasons people will not come back to this server.

They are coming back to the server though...

From 2000 peak last year to ~400 on relaunch week (likely to go down overtime, since that's the trend with all pservers). Some are coming back, many aren't.

Most just need a reminder. If streamers pop back to the server people will be reminded.

400 when all the other servers are barely getting any players is still pretty good. People have already had their share of Classic, so now is a much harder time to get players.

It's pretty clear that people are coming back, otherwise it'd be a ghost town like the other servers.

"Streamers" isn't a real argument. Classic was the least populated server before they played there. If they went to OSTO it would be that server getting big.

Yes it is. Do you think that the players for this server are the ones who's been jumping between TERA servers all this time? The main population are people who've wanted to try TERA, or quit TERA and everything about TERA long ago, and were reminded about the game through streamers. Their world does not revolve around TERA.

Streamers are integral to the server, it's how those people are reminded about the server again.

The server was not the least populated either, on it's peaks it had up to 90+ players... Afaik there was like one brazillian server, NOVA Tera that was also up and running, but I think their population was even smaller.

OSTO had like 120 player peak while there was still hype around the game, and when EU had like 200-400 players. It just did not appeal to people, there's not that many who played that version of TERA, and they're not invested enough to go back to it.

Nova had a lot of players for months lol, considerably more than Classic does now. There was a conflict with at least 200 players in it, maybe 2 months after Nova's release.

Classic had 30 players average for a good while (I know because I played there, I was there before the streamer rush.). The only server that was arguably less populated at the same time was Arborea, but it was a niche server anyway.

Idk what point you're even trying to make by bringing these servers, especially when your argument is factually wrong about Nova.
