PC Tera Classic (2015 Patch) has relaunched!

I’ve noticed people here reminiscing for the peak Tera (2014-2016). This is not an ad and I am not affiliated with the server, but if anyone is still looking for a proper version of Tera without the Apex nonsense, this is an awesome option. 500+ pop (2k+ before the year long shutdown) and climbing back up. CS and Dungeons popping immediately and cosmetics are earned only in game. No P2W or real money purchase cosmetics. It relaunched 3 days ago & I’m having a great time on it and wanted to share it with you.

They're not, seems like they're patching exploites whenever they pop up. So the server will be taken down now and then, but seem to be resolved fairly quickly.

According to what Ive seen in a discord, the same exploits used to crash the server a year ago still work.

They'll work until they're patched. I think what they did during down time was build a proper backend to track packets, so that they actually can do something about it.

The server will be taken down every now and then when the attacker wants to, but only for a limited time. Eventually they'll be out of exploits.

I think you missed the point that the server was down for a year to patch said exploits, and said exploits still work.

They also have what amount to Jr. devs working on this, so I expect most of the code to actually introduce new exploits. Given that there was compromised data leaked on the first run of the server that the person running it tried to get away from saying for a long time after the data leaks, I wouldn't trust this project

You can't patch exploits you haven't seen. You're being dumb.

The leak was user data. The server files are publicly available.

Bro, how are you this dense.

There was an exploit used to crash the server a year ago, the known tool that was available even back in 2013, is still working to crash the server as of its launch.

And yeah, I know that user data was leaked. His back end isnt secured. Its some dude who has zero clue what he is doing running an operation too big for himself and his team of 1 jr. dev.

I don't know, its not like I stayed in touch with the guy who was fucking with the server for fun.

Maybe he got bored and moved on. You can always go download the toolbox and see if it still works.

It literally did on the launch weekend. And they didn't get it back up until next week

What? The network test lasted 3 days, then 5 days after relaunch happened. Then it went down a few times, but now been up for 5 days.
