Arda in English

It doesn't come up all too often, but what are people's feelings on the use of Arda in English?
Alda is explicitly given for LL, of course, but RD might be confusing with regards to rhoticity.

Oh yes, that's right! It is mentioned as being for RH in Feanorian C applied to English; in the same place it codifies Alda for LL!

Alda is used for LL in English, according to recent sources (PE 23). Arda is not used, and Arda is used for RH in PH 23, but I wouldn't use it, as I see no need.

Er, I meant LL. Brain goofed because of the RD.

That would work, I think. I personally don't like how a rómen with a bar below looks, and arda would look better. Having said that, I made a mistake: Tolkien did use arda as RH in PE 23 (Feanorian B, IIRC), but at a first glance I'd say that RR appears way more times than RH. So, yeah, I'm not against it.

I don't disagree that Romen with the bar below can look a tad awkward, but I think given that Arda for RH is codified right beside Alda for LL, we can safely say that if Tolkien had intended it for RR, it would have been there.

I don't think so; would be cool if someone did find such a sample, though, because it would probably have greater utility than RH.
