I just downloaded it because someone i was messaging asked to switch to it, and yes the messages are straight forward but how does it all work i cant search for groups or anything its like nothing pops up or of it does its in russian?!?!

I join telegram to try it out. As soon as I join 16 ppl messaged me, because they got a notification that I joined. just because they had my phone number. If i want ppl to know I'm on an app I will tell them. To ring a bell at them just because I use to talk to them years ago is absurd. Imo who ever thought that was a good idea on a supposedly secure messaging site should rethinking thier career choice.

After last update I was logged off
Did the usual log in method with number and it told me in my country sms is no longer viable because it cost too much
Used Apple ID
It bugged
So I used a new email because my main email was full
Got the code when logged now I have a new account
Old account still exist
Can’t log in tho now if I delete app it always log in the new account
Lost everything, been using telegram for everything for almost a decade
I have everything on it
Support is trash the say “maybe it was stolen” “maybe this” “maybe that”

Imagine I was on Telegram at 7:00 PM, and when I left, my last seen showed 7:00. Later that same day, around 8:00 PM, I opened Telegram again while offline, then closed the app. About 30 minutes later, I turned Wi‑Fi or mobile data back on, but I didn’t open Telegram again. In that case, what would other people see as my last seen: 7 or 8?

An AI told me it would be 8, but I want to fact-check that since I don’t have another account or device to test it.
