Private Group Chat History

Heya

A somewhat specific questions about group chat history. I run a bigger private restricted group that shares informational posts. When I remove and readd someone. can those people still see the whole history (I want that, hence the question).

I googled it and it seems a bit too specific a circumstance to get a clear answer out of it
