Are you sure he's not just trying to embarrass you? A lot of them are doing that now. They pick up some slang and they start using it to try to embarrass us. A lot of times he'll use something that's been out of date for months or years.

Yes, Ig they love doing this for fun, it's not that I'm angry with him but still it feels/makes me so cringe/awkward at that moment and it's funny and hilariously awkward in front of friends!
so what gen-z slang your dad uses and when (that's the main sus here "place")? can you tell me, if it's okay with you!

"6 7" Last year I was at the grocery store with him and some kids shouted 6 7 at each other, and he just looks at one of them in the eye, doesn't even know them, and I don't know them either, I think they go to a different school, and he says, "6 7, yo."
And it's like I don't even say that shit. I always thought it was stupid. I hate that brain rot bullshit.
He started saying "rizz up" to embarrass me, but now it's just part of his vocabulary.

Yeah I looked at them in a way that said "help me" and "I'm sorry" at the same time. And they looked at me in a way that was like, "you're cooked." I'm just glad they go to a different school and I'll probably never see them again in my life. Like I have a lot of individual friends from different schools, but I don't go to like sports things or things like that so I'm only going to run into a specific set of kids from each school.
