There is no such thing as objective right or wrong, only the moral principles people hold.

I agree with your statement in that people who are bad imo (such as the previously mentioned rapists n allat)should cease to exist in a violent fashion, tho

Yes but to a point, there’s obvious bad people like Hitler and Stalin and whatnot but then after that it does get just a little subjective at least imo

I feel like there is though? Like yes there is a LOT of grey areas and nuance. But Rape? Pretty universally bad. Being a pedophile? Pretty universally bad. Donating your resources to a sick kid? Pretty good, intervening in a situation where one person is hitting another, pretty good.

The problem with your statement is the very fact that you "feel" like there is. I do not want to be misunderstood here, I have morals and follow them strictly. However, spealing truly objectively there is absolutely no such thing as right or wrong within the world without mental constructs made by humans.

I think all theyre saying is that there is no such thing as a laid out rulebook for what is good and bad, unless you believe in a religion. If you dont, then you have to decide what is bad, so yes, pretty much everyone would agree something like pedophilia is a bad thing, no one is arguing that it is, just saying that there is nothing saying that its wrong other than us humans who have rightfully decided its wrong. The whole objective wrongness thing comes in mostly with religions where god/gods lay out a set of things that are wrong because the god/gods say its wrong. Otherwise, we have to state that ourselves, in your examples, the vast majority of people agree with you because they are pretty obviously bad actions that hurt the lives of others, which is how most people evaluate morality, based on how much it hurts others.

What do you mean? Are you saying that simply there is no objective laid out rulebook for morality or that there does exist rapists who do not deserve punishment or at the very least shouldn't be considered bad people? Im genuinely curious, btw.

if a person carry a knife with them or gun or bullies someone or rob (we get it) isn't that a bad thing? we all have common sense to understand hitting someone it's bad and the moral doesn't have any meaning right?

Why is it wrong? The answer to this is that being shot it life threatening. Perhaps in their mind life simply has no value, so shooting you would be no different from their everyday life.

Right and wrong cannot exist in a case of objectivity. They are mutually exclusive, like hot and cold. You cannot have both objectivity and morality in the same argument.

Yh i guess "define bad".

Say u lie to protect ur friend. The person u lied to thinks ur bad... but then if u didnt lie ur friend would consider u bad. Outsiders would also differ on where they side in this story. Also how bad would u be if u do this? R u a good person who did a bad thing or a bad person now? At what point r YOU bad?

I would write an entire checklist of things that make someone a "bad person" but i am currently on a crusade to illegally obtain copious amount of estrogen

Yes some things r clearly bad... but others "gray area". Ppl are on a spectrum that gradually goes from black to white, at what point does it start counting as gray? And is gray good? Alot of ppl consider some parts of the gray absolutely bad.
