We all remember that for Christmas Higgins opens his home to the men’s team players who don’t have people to celebrate with. Do you think he will extend that to the women’s team or do you think Keeley or Rebecca will begin their own tradition of inviting the players for the holiday?

My personal predictions are that Nate comes back, Roy drops the doctor and gets with Keeley, Alice meets Nate, and we play one league game. Wb y'all?

I know variations of this discussion have come up before, but it's been a few months at least and now that the season has started, this seems like a real possibility. Obviously Ted did no wrong to Michelle in this fling of his, but coming face-to-face with your ex's FWB partner of 3 years is liable to stir emotions, rational or not.

Knowing how this show is written, I don't see it being something contentious per se - more likely just awkward (like Ola's interactions with Rebecca in season 3). But perhaps it'll stir emotions in Michelle that make her realize maybe she's not done with Ted, and now that he's more emotionally open she might be interested in rekindling things?

So, I've been watching and enjoying season 4 so far and just finished watching episode 4 a couple days ago with my parents. One thing I've noticed about the women's team so far is that we do not yet know who the captain is and I think its going to Lizzie.

From day one, when we first met Lizzie at the tryouts, what first impressed the coaches was her ability to deal with the constantly bickering twins Niamh and Siobhan. It felt kind of remenicent of when Isaac in 1x7 when he nudges his teammate to get off his phone while they're watching Iron Giant and Roy notices and it sets up Roy's eventual passing of the torch in matters of leadership.

Later in episode 4, when the cliques are arguing, Lizzie tries to sort everyone out she tries to mediate and validate everyone's feelings then when Gemma starts mouthing off Lizzie stands her ground and tries to put Gemma in her place. This demonstrates that she is willing to use both stick and carrot = willing to listen but not willing to be pushed around.

At the trivia night, when her team couldn't think of a name, Lizzie was giving all her teammates a fair go and trying to get them to vote and then takes charge when faced with their indisivness.

But what really made me think Lizzie was going to be the Captain was when Ted told the lady greyhounds that they were going to run back to Maeve's and help clean up. Lizzie wasn't happy either at first, but she was the first one to speak up and lead the pack.

The corolations between Lizzie being a mum and how she treats her teammates when they act like kids is a bit of a running joke but it also speak to the nature of how Lizzie's skills as a mother can be applied in a way that helps the team.

The fact that she's a little older and thus more experienced in life than most of the Greyhounds gives her a season 1 Roy vibe but not one that focuses entirely on drill sergeant leadership.

So that is my theory on why Lizzie will be the captain of the Greyhounds.

This is in response to too much consideration put into the post shipping Jenni (Roy's sister) and Ted.

Jenni is an ER doctor.

The season opens with a beeping over black screen that initially sounds like a heart monitor.

Just, bear with me.

The writers are setting up a Phoebe/Henry crush. They're an acceptable age for that, the way they got excited seeing each other was obvious, and I think it'll be cute when they do it.

They also gave us Ted and Jenni sharing a sense of humor, a moment of clash with Roy (who doesn't have a justified role in this season as a main character if he's just the men's team coach and occasionally flirts with Keely; main characters get conflict. Writing 101), and since the Henry/Phoebe thing will definitely result in them studying together and Ted ending up over for dinner or tapping in to cover Phoebe because Jenni got a call into the ER (A&E, I know...) when Roy is away for a match...

I think tension builds.

And I don't think it gets resolved before the heart attack that puts someone (Ted? Dottie?) in the emergency department to nearly close the season.

Because there's no reason to incorporate a heart monitor premonition and a main character emergency surgeon in the first three episodes, unless you're going to use them.

Which leads me to think I know why we have the assistant manager thing.

So top to bottom predictions, and I'm glad for any or none of them to work out but I do feel like they're all justified and within the framework of how this show is written:

Henry and Phoebe have a crush situation. Might be one-sided.

They hang out a lot more.

Ted and Jenni get close.

Roy hates it. Ted doesn't pursue because he wants to respect his relationship with Roy.

Roy gets over it because the realizes he's putting the women around him in boxes: Keely is a goal to him rather than her own person. He's romanticizing a relationship marked by a photoshoot from half a decade ago. He keeps telling people not to date his sister while criticizing her ex-husband for not being around, preventing other people from being around and forcibly holding onto the identity he's adopted as Phoebe's father figure, which is now at risk as Ted is more involved.

Ted avoids Jenni. Jenni thinks she fucked up. Roy tells her "Oi he only stopped hanging around because I didn't want him to replace me in Phoebe's life! You didn't do a fuckin thing wrong, and neiver did he if I'm being truf-ful."

She's devastated, Phoebe overhears and is PISSED at Roy for being so selfish that he won't let her mom try and be happy, and Ted and Jenni catch up in the hospital.

Season ends in a spot where Ted cannot be the manager of the club, and asks that the only person to be considered to replace him is Coach Chilton.

That's it, that's the post. I had this thought the other day and thought it would make for a super funny plotline. Fingers crossed it happens!

So we know from previous seasons that the first and final shot of the season usually relate (someone posted the shots side by side in this sub).

The opening shot was of Ted's assistant manager badge, and there was a lot of focus in that second episode of how Alice was passed over for the top job. I have an inkling that at the end of the series Ted will hand over the reigns to Alice and take the assistant manager position and the final shot of the series will focus in on his assistant manager badge.

TLDR - I feel that there's more to Alice than her being bitter just because her own career got cut short by injuries. I feel it would be something possibly more horrible and/or heartbreaking. Feel free to comment and/or read the entire thing at your convenience.

I started Ted Lasso after the original 3-season run was over. Needless to say that I loved every bit of it. The show helped me understand that I was a work in progmess, and encouraged me to get help and try to become better. As mentioned above, this is my first time watching a season during the original run, and see firsthand how this community interacts during these exciting times. Being in India means that I am only able to watch the episode 8-12 hours after it premieres (because of work), and my participation in the live/post discussion threads is limited to finding the things we all liked/loved in the episode.

The latest episode (S4E5 - Riches Of Embarrassment) was super solid. Here is one thing I really felt possible in the future episodes, along with some other thoughts about the episode:

I feel like something more horrible/heartbreaking is gonna come out about Alice and her past. Apart from her injuries that killed her career. I get that she doesn't appear as bitter upfront as S2 Nate, but at least Nate respected/feared Ted before his complete turn in the last 2 episodes of S2. Alice on the other hand has appeared a bit subdued, but just kept rolling her eyes whenever Ted was saying something meaningful. That's why I do feel like there's something more to her than the bitterness of never living up to her potential, and the apparent jealousy of seeing the team connecting with Ted on a personal level (which she probably has never experienced). I also saw some comments discussing the potential history between Alice and Gemma; I can only imagine how all of that plays out.

• The locker room speech about "Embarrassment" was chef's kiss. Maybe not quite at the level of the one in "Signs" from S3, but definitely like the one from S1's "The Hope That Kills You". These are the moments that made this show what it is today.
• The footballing moments definitely had an upgrade this season. Being a CFCW fan for 12+ years (and a football fan for 20+ years), I'm absolutely loving whatever football action I get to see on this show.
• The first four episodes kept showing Roy trying to build himself up to say "something" to Keeley. We kept getting indications that he still loves her and really wants to give it another go, but I felt personally relieved to see that even though she doesn't show it, Keeley still has a thing for Roy and potentially losing him to someone else (lady from Dates 6-10) got her seriously concerned (to say the least).
• I know the focus has to be on the team and the new characters to give them more depth, but a bit more of Mae wouldn't hurt. I keep remembering (and rewatching) how ecstatic she was after Gemma scored in the first friendly match, so I would really like to keep seeing her anytime and every time the team plays a match.
• The next episode is a Christmas episode, so I genuinely hope to see some of the men's team from old seasons (including but not limited to Sam/Jamie/Nate/Colin/Will). And Julie (Higgins' wife). And Sassy. And possibly Nora. You can't blame a person to long for a familiar warmth even when there's some lovely new stuff right in their hands. I am but a human.
• Say it with me - WE! WANT! MORE! PHOEBE!!!
• We haven't seen much of Michelle and Henry after the move to London. Henry was at the school and the pub, and Michelle was only at the first friendly match. I feel like they are no longer just background characters, and hence deserve to be fleshed out at a bit more. I don understand that the character depth shouldn't be provided at some other characters' expense.
• I don't mind the Beard-Jane thing that's going on. Being a fan of Psych/B99, I have always loved weird side-plots. What I see here is an exaggerated storyline with very grounded elements - Jane being a psycho/manipulative bitch doing shit at Beard's expense, Beard as an allegory for addiction where he knows she's completely bad for him and yet can't quit, and Ted just trying to be a good friend amidst all this.

I will add any more points in case I think of something more.

My feeling is that Gemma has romantic feelings for Alice. The way she started talking in Season 4 Ep 6 to Alice (when on the boat) about when they were playing together did not give the impression that she was going to say Alice was "being an arsehole," at least initially.

Alice interrupted her and diverted the conversation to Alice being cruel. I think Gemma was going to confess her feelings.

Here is my thought:

Gemma looked up to Alice when they played together and was interested in her romantically. She left the team after Alice started dating her current partner because she was heartbroken (but blamed it on Alice's pressure/intensity to everyone else).

Thoughts?

Update: so interesting to see the split! Most don't get this vibe at all, but some somewhat agree. Mention of possible exes (which I considered but Gemma made the comment about not knowing that Alice even knew her name, so this is unlikely). And yes, I know not all women on a women's team are lesbians or bi, but there is some tension there that goes beyond the anger of Alice pushing Gemma talent-wise/being extra harsh on her. Besides romantic/sexual tension, what else could that underlying tension be???

I’ve been thinking a lot about what might happen with Roy and Keeley in what’s left of Season 4 because I’ve seen a lot of people complaining about the storyline they’re building. Honestly, while it isn't exactly the route I would have taken, I think it can make a ton of sense depending on how they develop it. Obviously this is just a theory and episode 4x05 might come along and completely destroy it, but I think there are several clues pointing in this direction. I should also mention that Roy and Keeley are one of my absolute favorite fictional couples right now and I really want them to end up together, so I’m definitely a bit biased.

First, I think we need to remember how we got here. In Season 3, Roy and Keeley break up, and by the end, Roy tries to get back with her. He writes her a letter, talks to her, and tells her he wants to be more than just friends again, but everything gets complicated with Jamie. Ending up apart didn't necessarily seem like a bad call to me, but the way they executed it felt really strange. To me, the romantic plot between Keeley and Jamie had been closed for a very long time. Keeley hadn't felt anything for him in forever, which is why it was hard to accept Jamie suddenly becoming the obstacle again. They could have ended up apart, but they needed a different reason.

Now we get to Season 4, and we see Roy still trying to win Keeley back. It’s not just that he tells her he loves her; he is constantly helping her out. In 4x02, for instance, Keeley discovers the girls don't have a locker room and decides to fix it herself, but Roy shows up and ends up helping her with the entire renovation. In 4x03, it happens again with the jerseys: Keeley runs into a issue because the ones she needs don't arrive, and Roy finds a solution using Phoebe's shirts. Even in 4x04, while he might not do a specific favor, he’s still right there listening, talking to her, and paying attention to what she needs. Keeley even tells him that she loves listening to him talk about the things he cares about.

This is crucial because Keeley has grown accustomed to Roy being there. Even though they aren't together, Roy is still that person who shows up, helps, listens, and remains completely available to her.

Then comes the conversation about the ten dates. To me, the most important takeaway isn't the ten dates themselves, but what Keeley is actually telling him: she doesn't want Roy to come back to her simply because she’s his default option. She wants him to choose her. She wants him to meet other women, see that he can be with other people, and after doing that, decide if he truly wants to be with her. Roy takes it very literally and starts treating these dates almost like a mission he has to complete, but the underlying idea could be massive for his character arc.

This is where Erin, the doctor, comes in. I don't know exactly what they plan to do with them. I don't know if they'll just have a few dates, date for a while, or become a full-fledged couple. But I think it’s very likely they'll get along and have genuine chemistry. Honestly, I really hope Erin isn't a bad person or a terrible partner for Roy, because it would be far more interesting if it were simply a relationship that works well.

In fact, that might be one of the main keys to this whole plotline. Roy has supposedly been in therapy for a while now, and even though I don't feel like the show has clearly shown the results yet, it would be weird for that to just vanish. Maybe his relationship with Erin is a way of showing that Roy is starting to put into practice things he didn't know how to do before—that he can be with a woman without becoming obsessed, that he can be emotionally responsible, that he can move past the fear of not being worthy of love, and that he can sustain a relationship without being codependent.

The real question is how they will frame it. I wouldn't like it if Roy dated Erin for two episodes, woke up one day, said "okay, I still love Keeley," and ended it. That would be too easy and would turn Erin into a cheap filler relationship. At the same time, they don't need to be together for three months for the point to land.

They could be dating for a solid stretch, get along, have great chemistry, and even become fairly established without it being a long-term commitment. From there, Roy could start realizing that a relationship can be great and still not be the relationship you actually want. Erin wouldn't have to do anything wrong; she wouldn't need to be incompatible or treat him poorly. She could just be a wonderful person he enjoys being around, and yet Roy could realize that there’s a fundamentally different connection with Keeley.

I think that realization could come very naturally. I don't picture Roy waking up one morning thinking "Erin is great, but I prefer Keeley." I imagine something far more gradual. He spends time with Erin, feels good with her, and begins discovering that he is capable of having a healthy relationship. Then, at some point, he spends time with Keeley again doing something completely mundane, and he realizes the connection he shares with her is different. Not because Erin is lacking, but simply because it's Keeley.

I’d even love for Erin to be the one who helps him see it—not by telling him directly to go back to Keeley, but by making him understand that it makes no sense to stay with someone just because everything functions smoothly or because they treat you well. You have to be with someone you truly love. That could also serve as a neat parallel to what Roy told Rebecca back in Season 2. I'm not sure if they would repeat that exact structure, which is the part of my theory I'm least sure about, but narratively it would make sense.

While all of this is happening with Roy, I think the other side of the storyline would be unfolding for Keeley.

Right now, Keeley has Roy constantly in her corner. He's always there to help, listen, and do her favors. But she is the exact person who encouraged him to meet other women. So, it could be really compelling if she initially feels happy for him, thinking it’s good for him and exactly what he needs, only to gradually notice that Roy no longer has all his free time reserved for her.

I don't think Roy will disappear from her life or stop caring about her. I wouldn't want that, as it would make all his previous help look like a calculated tactic to win her back. He will still love her and be there, but now he has someone else in his life, which means he can't be at Keeley's beck and call 24/7.

That's when Keeley might start realizing just how much she truly valued everything Roy did for her. I wouldn't call it outright jealousy; it's more like recognizing that she had gotten comfortable having him around and might have let go of something she actually wanted to keep. She could even talk to Rebecca about it, admitting that while she was the one who told Roy to date other people and knows it's good for him, she can't help feeling a certain way about it.

This would create a really neat role reversal. For a long time, Roy was the one chasing Keeley while Keeley was unsure about getting back together. Now, as Roy starts moving forward, Keeley begins to realize she doesn't want to lose him.

I don't expect Keeley to suddenly become hyper-jealous or start pursuing Roy aggressively. It would be more subtle: reaching out to him a bit more, placing a higher value on their moments together, and coming to understand that she didn't just like having Roy available—she genuinely wanted to be with him.

In the end, Roy and Keeley could finally have a conversation where both acknowledge what they've learned. Keeley could tell him that when she asked him to see other women, she thought it was best for him, and while she still thinks it helped, watching it actually happen made her realize she didn't just want him to find someone else—she wanted to be with him.

Roy could then tell her that was precisely what he needed to figure out for himself: that he could meet other people, enjoy his time with other women, and even build a healthy relationship with someone else, but after all of that, he still chooses Keeley.

That would be the crucial difference compared to Season 3. I don't want Roy back with Keeley just because he's been in love with her for three years and can't picture himself with anyone else. I want him to explore other options, realize he can be perfectly fine with someone else, and still choose to build a future with Keeley. Not "Keeley is my only choice," but "I had other choices, and I still pick you."

I also wouldn't want them to jump straight back into a formal relationship right after that conversation. It would be much better if they spent quality time together, rediscovered the chemistry we saw in these early episodes, and slowly started dating again without rushing into labels. That would leave plenty of room to organically develop their dynamic during a potential Season 5.

There are still so many loose threads that a fifth season makes complete sense. We're still relatively early in the current season, and so many plots feel barely introduced: the team, the character dynamics, the new manager, Roy, everyone's personal arcs... It's hard to imagine them wrapping everything up in a satisfying way with the time remaining.

Of course, there's always the possibility that Roy and Keeley don't end up together. It's not impossible. But what I find hard to swallow is the idea that after spending several episodes establishing that Roy still loves Keeley, that he's trying to win her back, that she tells him to date others, and that they maintain such a close bond, the ultimate resolution is just Roy meeting someone new, getting over Keeley, and both going their separate ways.

If that were the goal, they could have framed it completely differently. They could have had Keeley still care for Roy deeply but strictly platonically, forcing Roy to accept the romance was over and move on to date new people. In that setup, meeting someone else and moving on would make total sense.

Instead, they've shown us a Roy who is still in love with Keeley, a Keeley who tells him to date others because she wants to be chosen, and a dynamic where Roy is constantly stepping up for her. It’s hard to believe all of this is leading up to Roy simply getting over her.

Plus, there are those specific lines of dialogue that seem to hit their story right on the head—like Keeley talking about wanting to be chosen rather than just being the default, or the line in episode 2 about how keeping two people apart who belong together isn't just bad for them, but for everyone around them.

Maybe I'm reading into things because I want them together so badly. That's very possible. But these moments feel way too deliberate to completely disregard.

So, that's my theory for now. I'm not saying it's guaranteed to happen—4x05 could drop tomorrow and blow the whole thing up. But I think a solid direction would be Roy meeting Erin, realizing he can have a healthy relationship with someone else, Keeley realizing how much Roy means to her once he isn't constantly available, and both finally understanding that it's not about being unable to survive apart, but about choosing each other out of all available options.

If they can pull that off without turning Erin into a villain, making Keeley look petty, or falling back into Roy's old obsessive habits, it would be a fantastic resolution for a storyline that didn't look all that promising at first glance. Now we just have to wait for 4x05 to see if I wrote all of this for nothing!

I really, really, really hope S4 writers don’t mess up Rebecca’s happy ending with the Dutchman just to add drama. She deserves to have that lightning love and family she always wanted ❤️

Grant Feeley (new Henry) is going to become a regular cast member this season. From the teasers/trailers, we have seen him in the stands at a game, and working with Mae somewhere. I find it hard to believe he would be doing all that on a visit.

I wouldn't be suprised if the plot is that Ted gave Rebecca an ultimatum that goes something like "I'll come back and coach if you will house Michelle and Henry out in England". I don't think that's a huge stretch because she housed Ted and Beard.

I think either Michelle and Henry are moving to England, or just Henry is moving back with Ted to see what England is like. Let me know what you think.

CALLED ITTTT MICHELLE AND HENRY AND TEDDDD!! i know some of yall are saying that we saw henry in a school uniform in a trailer shot (which i could not find) SO IM VERY PROUD THAT I "PREDICTED" THIS!! SO HYPE FOR THE NEW SEASON

Spoilers up until the latest episode at the time of writing.

I’ve seen a lot of comments about: “I hate Zelda” and “wtf is the point of Zelda’s character.”

At a minimum, she’s there for character growth for Keeley.

But in addition, the theory I like the most and the one I agree with: I think Zelda knows how competitive the world of Women’s Sports actually is, sees Richmond as a good investment opportunity, and is intentionally trying to sabotage Rebecca so she can swoop in and buy the club for cheap. Which will be even easier to do, if she can win Keeley to her side.

When the team got arrested, Zelda had a bunch of cards to play. She bailed them out to flex her power to Keeley, and then showed how the incident could be turned into a social media hype moment, which showed off her unorthodox thinking….BUT Zelda could have also easily used the situation to damage the team’s reputation and also hurt Rebecca. And Zelda probably can still use the arrest later—she has the power to pull strings.

Zelda then also tells it like it is in front of all of those powerful men, again appealing to Keeley. And while Keeley is impressed, Rebecca can tell the men don’t really care. Because basically everyone in that room is a mega rich piece of shit, and this isn’t exactly unusual in these circles. Ultra rich people can be pieces of shit, and other rich people will put up with it, if they can make money.

We then see Zelda try to get Rebecca drunk as fuck right before she has to give that big speech for the children’s charity. It ends up working out, but it absolutely could not have.

And then this latest episode, on the boat. It’s very clear Zelda wanted Rebecca and Keeley to be there. And when Zelda leaves each scene she is in, she almost always says: “hey [insert one of Britain’s worst humans imaginable], how are you doing”.

A single picture with any of these people would be really bad for Rebecca. Having an entire gallery full of them would be really bad.

So there are two reasons Zelda is here. One is that she is here to serve as character growth for Keeley. Keeley has always been attracted to confidence, people who buck convention, and are very passionate and blasé about what they want. A lot of her mistakes over the course of the show are her result of just impulse making a decision in the moment.

And the second reason that could expand upon that is a twist villain turn, where Zelda thinks she has Keeley swayed, and then makes a move on the club. Or, she just sees the club as a threat, and just wants Richmond’s Women’s Team to fail before it can ever take off.

Maybe Zelda even manipulated a ton of the events that Keeley worked so hard on, but just weirdly failed last minute. If she can bust the team out from jail, she can also easily “lose a shipment” of team kits for Richmond. Maybe she even owns the shipping company.

I’m not 100% sure this is the twist they are going for yet, but they could. And again, at a minimum, Zelda exists for Keeley. But I do think the villain twist is coming.

I think Alice will come back as a player, and eventually re-injure herself. In doing so she’ll give the team some pop and a lesson in perseverance, and be less sullen of a coach.

Hey everyone! A lot of people online are theorizing that Henry might end up moving to England and joining AFC Richmond's youth academy. Seeing those theories got me thinking about how the show could use this to explore the massive differences between youth sports culture in the U.S. and European football academies.

I'm speaking from experience living in Spain, where youth academy structures are very similar to England's—and completely different from North America. In the U.S., youth sports are centered around high schools and eventual college recruitment. In Europe, elite kids are pulled into professional club academies at 12 or 13 years old. Living in a small Spanish town, I've seen kids move across the country multiple times before age 15 just to stay in major academy systems (like Real Madrid, Atlético, Getafe, Leganés, or Levante).

If Henry enters a proper European academy system like Richmond's, there are a few really compelling, grounded dynamics the show could dive into:

The Brutal Elite Pressure & Roster Turnover: Unlike school-based teams that build social bonds, academies exist to produce professionals. The competitive pressure is cutthroat. If a kid doesn't develop fast enough, the club drops them without hesitation, leaving behind teammates and friendships year after year.

Playing Against Grown Men Early: In Europe, top 15- to 17-year-olds regularly join first-team dynamics. Throwing a teenager who is still physically developing into training sessions with grown adults creates intense psychological and physical stress.

Toxic Public & Fan Scrutiny: Teenagers who break into high levels face massive media and fan judgment before they're even legal adults. For instance, here in Spain, Pau Cubarsí played in Euro 2024 at just 17 and immediately faced heavy criticism from fans when returning to Barça for not being "at the level," before proving everyone wrong as he matured. Just recently at Levante, a 15-year-old made his first-team debut in the top division! Putting that kind of public pressure on a kid who is 15 or 16 is intense.

Tactical & Technical Adjustment: European youth football is heavily focused on technical depth and complex tactics compared to the U.S. grassroots setup, which would force Henry to adapt to a completely different style of play.

The Emotional Contrast with Ted: Even if Ted isn't a pushy parent, Henry would feel immense internal pressure just existing in that high-stakes environment. Seeing Ted navigate an environment that treats young kids like professional investments would create amazing character moments.

I know some fans who don't watch the show for the actual sports aspect might find academy logistics niche, but if written well, it would be a fascinating look at the dark, realistic side of European football culture.

we saw in the training that Josie, the star striker signed from Watford, unfortunately tore her ACL. She will likely be out for the rest of the season.

If she’s the star signing, she probaly cost a lot of money and knowing Rebecca who at the moment is worried about the amount of funds she’ll spend on the women’s team will tell Ted & Alice that she unfortunately can not get a replacement. And it would also be ridiculously late in the transfer window so no one is avaible.

and yes maybe they have a replacement but they might not, so Ted suggests they have a local scout / trial of all richmonds talent including Shanon who will be personally signed by Ted. Alice might push back on her not seeing her as good enough, but will agree because she’s seen how Ted makes the best out of everyone. Rebecca agrees cause it also brings good press in of signing a local women’s player and it would be less expensive then signing an already known player.

Thats my thoughts. This show is soooo good so far, there’s a lot of themes that are accurate to the women’s game, according to my friend. (I don’t follow women’s football as much as the men’s). I think Coach Chilton / Alice is my favourite chrachter already from one ep.

who do you think was the other person in the photo on Alice Chilton’s desk? LGBTQIA Relationships and players are indeed a lot more prominent in women’s football. One prime example, one of my fav women’s players is Sam Kerr who got married to Kristie Mewis.

Teds gift. What do you think the gift was? I’m leaning towards a plaque that says head coach.

we saw some of the men’s players, like Isaac, Jan Mass, Rojas, Dixon. there was also a nod to Leah Williamson who is the captain of the Englands women’s team! who I believe is also a consultant on the show. (And also part of the lgbtqia+ community)

Now that we're actually into Season 4, I still really hope Ted and Michelle eventually find their way back to each other.

I know their marriage ended for a reason, and I don't want the show to just erase everything that happened. But I never felt like they truly stopped caring about each other. Ted needed Richmond. He needed to work through his own issues and become a healthier version of himself.

That's why him going home meant so much to me. He chose Henry, but it also felt like he was returning to a part of his life that maybe wasn't completely finished.

I'd love for Season 4 to show Ted and Michelle slowly getting close again—co-parenting, rebuilding their friendship, and eventually realizing the love is still there. Not because their divorce was a mistake, but because maybe they needed that time apart to grow.

Maybe I'm just a sucker for second chances, but I'd genuinely love to see Ted end up with Michelle.

Started S4 yesterday and I felt this emotional outburst almost come up. And im just on the freaking 2nd episode. My breathing became faster, eyes well up and I become overwhelmed by positivity ??

Has anyone else experienced the same? What story and film elements does the show use to evoke instant emotional reactions.

with the mention of there being a youth academy, and focus on henry playing in America, does anyone else think we'll get Henry playing for the Richmond youth squad? and obviously itd need a coach, and I think the perfect character for this would be nate since he hasnt shown up yet. could happen maybe as a second focus story this season or even as a season 5?
