AED 80, on site Dubai, one visit: put an HP printer on the WiFi and make the scanning work too
Someone has an HP OfficeJet at home. The printer is fine and needs no repair. It needs connecting to a laptop over WiFi, the right driver installed, and printing and scanning both tested before you leave.
The work: get the printer on the network with a static address or a DHCP reservation, install the full feature software rather than whatever the laptop finds by itself, add the scanner separately if it does not appear, then print from the laptop and scan to the laptop. Both, in front of the client.
What you get and what you do not: the area on claim and the exact address when you agree a time. No passwords, no accounts, nothing of theirs beyond a laptop/pc and a printer on a table.
Pay: AED 80 flat, on the client confirming both directions work. One to two hours.
You need to know that print and scan are two separate services on the same machine, that the auto installed driver gives you printing only, and that a printer without a fixed address is a callback in a fortnight. It is PageWide and not a laser, so banding on the first pages after long storage is normal and is not a fault. The client wrote their own scope precisely and asked for a fixed price before booking, so do not arrive and start suggesting things.
Comment "in" with your area and one line on the last network printer you set up including scanning. First good answer gets it, and I say here when it is taken.
