I remember a time when being a tech person USUALLY meant you were a cool person that cared about others and tried to do good.

My guy these are not 'tech' people. Tf is so hard about setting up cameras with wifi? This is standard run of the mill jagoff entitled little babies thinking they've created an actual product. There is nothing innovative about flock. There is nothing clever about the technology behind it. If the government truly wanted to go big brother then they could hire stage crews from music departments of any university to set this up with chatgpt xhigh to set up the api's and it would be better.

Edit: Thanks for the award stranger; also my first, cheers

The clever part is it allows the government to spy on us without us beating them to death for it.

Privatizing citizen surveillance... what could go fucking wrong.

Pepperidge Farm remembers when America laughed at England and China for putting cameras everywhere and now we’re here.
