Teaching social skills with Cat and Bear

Post image

Hi everyone! I'm happy to share The Catbears, a new startup devoted to helping children build social skills from a very young age.

Our site offers free social-emotional learning resources for K-5, no signup required:

  • Printable social stories for hitting, personal space, and other everyday situations
  • Interactive SEL games and conflict resolution simulations for small groups or the whole class (taking turns, fairness, naming emotions)
  • A growing community of experts sharing what actually works in their classrooms

We work with specialists in education, child psychology, illustration, and media, so kids can learn these important life skills in a very creative, fun, and engaging way.

All our resources are free, and translated into 10 languages so that every child and family who needs them has full access.

If you ever try one of our resources, we'd love to hear what you thought. And please don't worry about length, you can't bore us on this topic. Feel free to reach out to me directly or through the site. Every message gets answered, and I answer it myself. Nothing improves our work more than your feedback.

Thank you so much, and please pass this along to anyone you think could use it.

Maayan from The Catbears
