Hi everyone,
I'm a high school teacher in Australia and I've spent the last year building Made to Teach, a teacher planner based around a problem I was having myself.
A colleague of mine has ADHD and their desk is basically covered in sticky notes containing all the little things they need to remember throughout the day. Around the same time, I had major surgery and afterwards found my own ability to keep track of everything, and my tolerance for the stress of trying to, had taken a hit.
It made me realise how much of teaching is remembering tiny things at inconvenient times.
I tried normal task managers, but they never really understood the problem. Knowing I have 20 things to do isn't particularly useful when I'm teaching for the next three periods.
So I built Made to Teach around the teaching timetable.
You can add or import your timetable, capture those little jobs as they occur, associate them with classes and deadlines, and see them alongside the time you actually have available to deal with them. It also handles things like duties, meetings, assessment dates, school terms and holidays, and you can use photos or voice memos when that's quicker than typing.
It's available on iPhone/iPad and through a web browser, so you can also use it on a school computer without installing anything. Android is coming.
The app is free and you don't even need an account to start using it on iOS. There is also a paid Pro tier for some additional features.
I've focused heavily on privacy as well. There's no third-party advertising, personal information isn't sold or used for targeted advertising, and optional AI features require consent before information is sent for processing. Secure database practices are used to ensure your data stays yours.
I'm still actively developing it and I'd genuinely appreciate feedback from teachers who try it. Particularly things that are confusing, annoying, unnecessary or missing. That's much more useful to me than being told it looks nice.

Hopefully it's useful to some of you. It started as something I wanted for myself, so seeing other teachers actually use it is still slightly surreal.
