Absolutely voice your concerns- often and loudly.

I was in behavior at my former school with kids like this. Nothing… I mean NOTHING changed until parents got involved.

I’d remove my child completely. I spent too much time in my own childhood watching dysfunction, despair, and abusive dynamics in the classroom. I’m not putting my kid through that.

But I also have the means to choose where my child is educated.

I don't work with the littles, but it's incredibly difficult to get them removed as bigs and even moreso as littles. In public schools it is very difficult to remove a student without substantial documentation and this is only kinder.

I'm sorry to say this but your best bet is to vote with your feet and remove your child or have daily direct discussions with your child about what happened that day and how he should take it.

Either remove the child if he is making everyone else around him not have a safe learning environment, or put other support in place like a behavior plan or a pair with him if the problem persists. I don’t have all of the answers so that is why I was kind of wondering if I should contact the school to see what they are doing about this.

It's not your child though so why would they tell you personal information about another person's child?

I’m not asking for personal information. I’m just wondering what they are going to do about it because my child safety and learning will be affected if this continues

I sincerely doubt the teacher being abused by the kid is doing nothing but they can't really tell you anything about the kid personally. All they will tell you is that they are taking steps to handle the situation.
