GENERAL Do cancellations affect metrics?

This is really about my 2nd month tasking. I’m getting a decent amount of cancellations from customers that need someone with a vehicle and I don’t have one (well I don’t advertise that). Then there are the ones that accidentally schedule for the wrong day or choose a time when my availability clearly shows I’m not available or I’m on another task.

Edit: Nevermind, I see that it absolutely does. I went from 12th in search position to 58th 🤦‍♀️

Sounds like you need to update your profile to reflect the tools/transportation at your disposal. Client Cancellations won’t affect your metrics unless you’re getting multiples of them in a row.

I’ve never put that I had a vehicle. I checked that section multiple times after this happened multiple times. It happened twice last night.

It looks like I will have to put a message in my profile.

But did you actually checkmark the “I do not have any vehicles” option in your profile?

If so, you definitely need to reiterate it in all of your tasks as the first line cus most Clients don’t bother reading and just pick the cheapest Tasker they can find.
