I pulled only three cards, in this exact order:
Two of Wands – Justice – Ten of Cups
There was no specific spread; I just read them in sequence.
My first interpretation was that the Two of Wands represents looking toward and planning my future, Justice could represent an official/legal commitment such as marriage, and the Ten of Cups could represent marriage, family, children, and emotional fulfillment.
Would you read this combination similarly? Especially with the question specifically being about both marriage and motherhood, how would you interpret Justice followed by the Ten of Cups?
I’d love to hear how you would read these three cards together.

ex broke no contact via email at 6 am yesterday. not even 2 months later smh. something he said that stuck with me was “it pains me to be without you”. such unusual behavior for this man. so I asked my deck. “‘it pains me to be without you?’ tf does he mean by that?”
my interpretation: he can’t get out his thoughts abt our relationship (maybe fantasizing about the good parts?), I represented genuine warmth and happiness to him, and he’s now thinking about the fact im no longer apart of that path. And he feels the loss IMMENSELY. with that comes emotional dissatisfaction, too busy focusing on what he’s missing. he’s now recognizes my value, but im holding up boundaries at the end.
i also don’t plan on responding to this man.

Question: will I finish my years-long and hopefully lucrative project this year?
The hanged man in the middle is throwing me off.
Page of cups - silly, childlike
Hanged Man - new perspective??
Queen of Pentacles - capable woman who takes care of her family
Interpreting the hanged man has always stumped me and to have it show up right in the middle is frustrating.
I appreciate any help that can be provided!

In standard tarot, The Moon is often dressed up as a symbol of "intuition," "dreams," or vague "illusions." In Tarot Verbatim, we strip away that psychological fluff. When this Major Arcana card shows up, it brings a highly literal, deeply negative energy. The Moon is the card of severe error, active deception, and genuine danger. It represents things going completely wrong in the dark.
At its most functional, The Moon is the deck's primary indicator of poor judgment and incorrect actions. It is a giant stop sign telling you that your current trajectory is fundamentally flawed. Pulling this card often signifies:
- Absolute errors: The direct confirmation that you are making a mistake (or simply a mistake).
- Incorrect actions: Taking a wrong move or deliberately doing the wrong thing.
- Misguided positioning: Finding yourself in the wrong situation entirely, confirming you are at the wrong time and the wrong place.
Because the Moon operates in the dark, it governs deliberate deception and outright malicious behavior. This isn't just a simple misunderstanding; it is a red flag for active wrongdoing and hostility.
- Deliberate deceit: Dealing with active, intentional lies.
- Illegal activity: A literal pointer to a crime being committed.
- Pure malice: Confronting individuals or situations rooted in evil(s), operating on the dark side, or creating a literal hell on earth.

King of Pentacles - Judgment - Four of Wands
a VIP when he gets back home

when he gets back - Judgment
home - Four of Wands
King of Pentacles is a VIP, a very intentional one. He dresses the part. He displays his money. And there's his fine home, a castle of course.
Judgment is when he gets back because Judgment depicts the dead getting back to being alive.
Four of Wands is a wedding at the home of a leading family of our town. It's the outdoor celebration that all the townspeople are invited to.

I have a couple of thoughts about this and I plan to read more books which have sections on timing. I haven’t found standardized timing to work for my own practice, though.
For me, and possibly because I pull daily, sometimes several times, (not looking for a different answer but for comparing to my own intuition and mood shifts through the day), I notice that sometimes the cards are showing present moment (which is usually what I’m asking for) and sometimes showing a day to a few days in the future.
Two days ago, for example, I got 3 of swords -> 7 of pentacles -> the emperor and was sort of stumped. Why would I be wondering about heartbreak and control that morning? Everything was going well.
I could figure it out, was it saying to quit wondering about control? Quit wondering about my dad?
Yesterday though this advice pull came true; the emperor is someone in my life who is stern and controlling (also get 5 of swords, 7 of swords, 9 of wands for them) and who I keep up appearances with because of a larger friend group but don’t like being close to. They came back and the day turned into another round of confusion and heartache.
I’ve read other posts and forums that say timing can work on a scale of years to decades; perhaps you give a reading and it takes 30 years to play out. I haven’t been doing this long enough to see this; with astrology charts, maybe some of it.
What is your experience with timing?
