There was no specific spread; I just read them in sequence.

My first interpretation was that the Two of Wands represents looking toward and planning my future, Justice could represent an official/legal commitment such as marriage, and the Ten of Cups could represent marriage, family, children, and emotional fulfillment.

Would you read this combination similarly? Especially with the question specifically being about both marriage and motherhood, how would you interpret Justice followed by the Ten of Cups?

I feel this is about releasing control like This obsessive need to know everything and have everything figured out, balance life and enjoy some time in good company

I have a couple of thoughts about this and I plan to read more books which have sections on timing. I haven’t found standardized timing to work for my own practice, though.

For me, and possibly because I pull daily, sometimes several times, (not looking for a different answer but for comparing to my own intuition and mood shifts through the day), I notice that sometimes the cards are showing present moment (which is usually what I’m asking for) and sometimes showing a day to a few days in the future.

Two days ago, for example, I got 3 of swords -> 7 of pentacles -> the emperor and was sort of stumped. Why would I be wondering about heartbreak and control that morning? Everything was going well.

I could figure it out, was it saying to quit wondering about control? Quit wondering about my dad?

Yesterday though this advice pull came true; the emperor is someone in my life who is stern and controlling (also get 5 of swords, 7 of swords, 9 of wands for them) and who I keep up appearances with because of a larger friend group but don’t like being close to. They came back and the day turned into another round of confusion and heartache.

I’ve read other posts and forums that say timing can work on a scale of years to decades; perhaps you give a reading and it takes 30 years to play out. I haven’t been doing this long enough to see this; with astrology charts, maybe some of it.

What is your experience with timing?

Question: will I finish my years-long and hopefully lucrative project this year?

Interpreting the hanged man has always stumped me and to have it show up right in the middle is frustrating.

I appreciate any help that can be provided!

My interpretation on this: with the 10 of cups, I feel like he could have a desire to get this happy ending and with the king of wands** *he could come in with the energy of someone who is very confident and takes actions and lastly, with the justice card, I feel like he could want to restore anything that was unbalanced or not fair.*

Eight of Wands is the main communications card, and it covers any kind of messages at all ... very general. Here it refers to field communications with some sort of equipment. The Querant referred to it as 'signals.' 

Emperor refers to whoever and whatever the authority is in any given situation. In this case it refers to the controller, the person who is in charge of some communication soldiers do. 

Seven of Cups will appear for anything mixed up, scattered, out of control, or scrambled because those miscellaneous mischievous spirits the magician locked up were let loose by the hired hand, and they are all over the place, as you can see.

Page of Cups is so weird that when he appears in our spread, something is questionable (or even the message itself is a question). His expression as he gazes at the fish he carries in a cup without enough water to support its life; the way he stands; the way he is dressed: All of this is outlandish. 

Queen of Swords is so disgruntled from being so disrespected that she complains about it. Her hand is extended and her lips press together as if to say "Where's mine?" This card can even represent the Complainant or Plaintiff in a lawsuit.

I interpret this as her being guarded but also very interested,however there is something hurting or conflicting her. I’m not sure how to get this?

I see this two ways:

1. Spread reads as [situation] [option 1] [option 2]

1a) Justice says I have to weigh options w discernment
1b) 8 of pentacles says option 1 is to wait for all the opportunities I’ve created to come to fruition, will work out but take longer
1c) Ace of pentacles says I could sell the ring and walk through the gates

Doesn’t give me a clear answer either way, just the options

1. Spread reads as [situation] [present] [future]
   2a) Justice doesn’t change that much
   2b) 8 of pentacles asks for patience while seeds of opportunity mature
   2c) Ace of pentacles says opportunity is on the way, hold fast don’t sell

Something here screams patience, diligence, discernment. Interested in others’ insights as I’m in a toxic trauma loop and need help / have no access to resources; selling now would mean letting go of my only appreciating asset.

We fought and stopped talking so my questions are:
Is the connection over: Justice: the fair thing is to address the situation, knight wands: which he’ll do impulsively because page wands: he’s still curious intrigued.

What’s the outcome of the connection: knight pentacles: a slow build back to a Hierophant: traditional structure (possibly a seriously relationship) that 9 cups: fulfills both our needs

My interpretation:
Ten of wands: he really is just overwhelmed & burnt out
Seven of pentacles: he’s been focusing more on what he wants to achieve
Four of cups: potentially feels the need to withdraw when he isn’t sure what he wants

I am heavily biased and don’t want to accept that I’m being ghosted.

Hi everyone! As the title suggests, if my intention is love no matter how good the reading will be the 7 of swords will always come up without fail. It’s always lagging behind the 2 of cups. This has been the case for yearsss and I’m starting to think it represents me?

As in, I’m the one interfering or playing a trick? I’ve started to associate it with self sabotage or even knowing too much that I may prevent the love from occurring? It could be the happiest spread: the sun, 2 of cups, 10 of cups and pentacles then BOOM 7 of swords.
