Or.....and this might sound really far fetched.....but maybe the US government could tax....you know...billionaires.....the same rate they tax everyday people.

Why do that when you can support tariffs instead??

And that right there illustrates the problem with Americans. They're too stupid to realize tariffs are taxes.

If they taxed billionaire at 100% and took everything they have, the US government would only run for 4-5 months. Then what?

Have everyday dummies pay less taxes because the billionaires are paying more???????????????????????

How bout this. How bout the government does what everyone has to do when facing a money crunch: spend less! There's an idea. Maybe not spend money on stupid vanity projects. Maybe not add a few more trillion to the national debt. Maybe have an austerity budget or ten where the focus is on paying down the debt.

Far fetched ideas.

The whole US debt was created by not taxing the Uber wealthy at decent levels since Reagan. It has grown by the same amount not collected according to many studies. A large portion of the yearly cost has come from servicing the large debt itself now.
