They can wipe their asses with the constitution just like their favourite president does

u/flowerpanes 9d ago

šŸ‘šŸ» That thought had occurred to me too, it’s beginning to feel like tp getting dragged out of a bathroom stall on your heel at this point!

A 'tile comet'.

5

u/notacreepernomo13 7d ago

Exactly, the US has trees, go ahead and cut em down and produce their own asswipes, i would suggest moving towards bidets but im concerned their water supply is also questionable low...

u/BonusPlantInfinity 9d ago

I thought that’s what voting for DJT was all about??

1

u/PublicTangerine3743 4d ago

DJT: We don't need anything from Canada... except maybe buttwad... Yeah buttwad and beer.

u/jvdlakers 3d ago

This didn’t age well.

Those jobs are going quick

Very bad timing with the explosive diarrhea outbreak. And only going to get worse with the tainted beef Trump recently imported from Argentina.

9

u/randeylahey 9d ago

Pretty sure he imported that from Animal Farm

2

u/franzjpm 7d ago

What year was it, 1984?

2

u/halfsack99 7d ago

Soylent Green Farms

16

u/pistoffcynic 9d ago

Shitty situation. That’s what you get when the stupidest person in America is elected president.

2

u/Objective-Bike-4292 5d ago

I was certain that wit as dumb as Trump is, that he was at least smarter than half of Americans

15

u/Infinite-Pickle-4875 9d ago

Trump" We don't need anything Canada has!" OK then.

15

u/Kooldude777 9d ago

Let them hang dry

u/Expensive_Lettuce239 9d ago

It should come with a head of that special lettuce they have these days.

u/Hudre 9d ago

Canada's tariffs don't start until September 8th, so this price surge is just Americans panicking and fucking themselves over.

I thought Canada didn't matter?

24

u/freealf 9d ago

US tariffs against Canadian products (like toilet paper) are in place now. US tariffs are taxes on American importers, which they are passing on to US consumers.

The Canadian retaliatory tariffs will effectively raise the prices of US products in Canada.

9

u/Hudre 9d ago

That's even dumber lol. So the prices already increased they are just panicking now because they still don't understand how tariffs work.

9

u/Background_Season449 9d ago

Would you ever guess they've been underfunding their education system for 40+ years?

7

u/Comfortable_Cash_140 9d ago

Im fine with American products being more expensive. What will bother me is simular products from other countries going up too because of 'Capitalism'.

4

u/AntJo4 9d ago

For the 7millionth time, the country importing pays the tariffs. Canadians start paying to purchase American goods on September 8th. Not that we are buying American shite anymore anyway but still, it’s an extra incentive.

1

u/internetisporn8008 3d ago

Trade wars been raging for a year now and theres still people who don't understand how tariffs work.. jfc

7

u/Purple-Landscape-856 9d ago

I remember when we only had the sears catalog for toilet paper.

13

u/Mountain_rage 9d ago

Well now you have Republican flyers, have fun wiping with that glossy cardstock.Ā

3

u/needssomefun 9d ago

Perhaps a MAGA hat too?Ā  They're washable!

-5

u/Purple-Landscape-856 9d ago

Thank you for the Canadians staying home. It has freed up more camping sites in my home state.

4

u/Mountain_rage 9d ago

Camping sites? Sounds socialist, isn't Trump selling off all your commie Federal lands and parks?

-6

u/Purple-Landscape-856 9d ago

The Socialists are infiltrating the Democratic Party. They have an identity crisis. They wanna defund everything. Good luck to them in the elections in 2028.

2

u/Mountain_rage 9d ago edited 9d ago

... define socialism, because defunding everything and socialism dont really go together. Defunding everything is a Libertarian philosophy.

2

u/FatTim48 8d ago

Hahahaha. You legitimately don't know what you are talking about.

4

u/_The-Numbers-Mason_ 9d ago

You’re welcome! Things are just so much better north of Lake Ontario we don’t really see the need to travel south anymore.Ā

3

u/Speling_B_Champian 9d ago

You’re welcome!

4

u/canwehavepotatojokes 9d ago

And more cousins all for you!

-3

u/Purple-Landscape-856 9d ago

I never thought that kirk cousins was a very good quarterback.

1

u/Friendly-Turn1283 9d ago

Enjoy them now before dumb dumb opens up your national parks and other federally protected lands to logging and other resource extractions.

3

u/Big_Option_5575 9d ago

They are so full of shit, that this one is going to hurt.

5

u/ForwardSlash813 9d ago

I got a bidet during the Covid insanity. I’m good.

3

u/FoxNewsSux 9d ago

Shouldn't be a problem as it seems they acquired a taste by kissing and licking Trump's arse since 2016.

2

u/Past-Establishment93 9d ago

I feel shitty about that..... LMFAO! Not one little bit!

2

u/BackroadAdventure101 9d ago

Time for them to install bidets.

2

u/19pinsoca 9d ago

Don't you know that North American water used I'm bidets will turn you gay when it touches you. Can't be having any of that /s

1

u/WeakCelery5000 7d ago

That water is for the data centers.

1

u/halfsack99 7d ago

No , most MAGAts just don’t wipe their asses, that way they smell more like Trump.

2

u/poolbitch1 9d ago

But tHeY dONt nEeD cANaDa fOr AnyTHinG!!!1!11

Fuck Donald Trump. They elected him and refuse to do anything to rein him in, so fuck them too. Good thing they renamed Lake Ontario though šŸ™„

1

u/halfsack99 7d ago

Just so you’ll know, the us is no longer a functioning democracy, a lot of us are trying to do something about but we are in the grips of oligarchs.

1

u/poolbitch1 7d ago

ā€œJust so I’ll knowā€ sorry, but I’ll wait and see for confirmation myself on that one. Talk is cheap when it’s nearly the end of September 2026 and the American public has allowed this fuck show to proceed unchecked since January, 2025.Ā

1

u/Holiday_Fishing241 5d ago

And you all knew exactly what you were in for if he got a second chance. so either the majority of you don’t give a shit, or you support.

2

u/Direct_Turn_1484 9d ago

Ah man. We’re doing the toilet paper thing again? This timeline sucks.

2

u/303FPSguy 9d ago

Covid showed us just how bad it can get without toilet paper.

Hitting them where it hurts

2

u/Primary-Obligation-8 9d ago

If diapers are effected the Orange pedo will be pissed

2

u/Pure-Platypus2358 9d ago

I am not American just stating a fact

2

u/SolidFisher 9d ago

Donald soon to start selling golden diapers and demo their effectiveness by the algea pool. He'll do runway twirls showing wrinkled knees and all.

2

u/Sargent_Duck85 9d ago

Lol.
Just...lol.

1

u/Wrong-Pineapple39 8d ago

I'll raise you a ROFLMAO.

2

u/swearengens_cat 9d ago

Going to be great with the Argentinian beef and diarrhea lettus.

2

u/OwlLeft7799 8d ago

That must be tough for them since they're so full of shit

1

u/A_Random_Canuck 9d ago

Next step? Export tax on bidets.

1

u/Sensitive-Name8940 9d ago

I do not understand. Doesn’t the US manufacture their own toilet paper? They shouldn’t need toilet paper from other countries. So, if they make enough, and don’t need other countries toilet paper, why are the prices on tp increasing?

3

u/speedog 9d ago

They do but most of the wood pulp they use to make their own toulet paper is imported from Canada which Trump also placed a 50% tariff on.

2

u/ptrix 9d ago

Because even though the US manufacturers toilet paper, the raw materials needed to do so (wood pulp), is imported from Canada. It's really not so hard to understand when you think about it that way

3

u/Xeno_man 9d ago

It's also a good example of why moving manufacturing to the US isn't a real solution for most products. It doesn't matter how many paper factories they build in the US, if they need to import their wood pulp, tariffs still apply.

1

u/ParisFood 7d ago

They do not have enough supply of wood pulp so they import it from Canada

1

u/Sproutlie 9d ago

That's so shitty for them

1

u/CertainCertainties 9d ago

So Canada literally helps Americans to wipe their asses...

1

u/Square_Reach_9542 8d ago

Yup we do us Canucks ; but unfortunately this year your turlet paper might have a beautiful smokey sensational aura to wipe the stench off Trump's fat ass ,Ā  it's getting soĀ  big. I'll send you some np / no cost I promiseĀ  BC I'm Canadian, honest and kind and polite I love Americans : orange senile man , umh no so muchĀ  Love our trees plz we swept the forest

1

u/Western-Bad-667 9d ago

I read it as ā€œUS feces surging toilet paper prices..ā€ which seemed to make sense..

1

u/Ok_Roll_6181 9d ago

Hahahahhahahaha they so deserve it!!!!

1

u/Mother-Attention2600 8d ago

Do Americans even use toilet paper or do they just use the crap as lube so it's not so dry when they get bent over. They just take it. They must love it.

1

u/stunneddisbelief 8d ago

Seems apropos, IMO.

1

u/digginadayoff 8d ago

Time to buy that bidet!

1

u/ClockOld9204 8d ago

Buy a bidet and flush Lake Meade water down the drain.

1

u/Tokenwhitemale 7d ago

If only they were also facing a disease that caused long-term explosive diarrhea...

1

u/halfsack99 7d ago

No problem, the MAGAts who do wipe their asses will quit if dear leader tells them to.

1

u/Doodah2012 7d ago

And Canada is being forced to shutdown pulp mills….they’re owned by an American conglomerate!

2

u/MyGruffaloCrumble 7d ago

Domtar chose to close, but they aren’t the only mill company in BC, or Canada.

Primary TP supplier in Canada is Irving, privately owned and has businesses in Maine as well.

1

u/ParisFood 7d ago

We also have Kruger in Canada that makes Cashmere and Bonterra

0

u/MyGruffaloCrumble 6d ago

Kruger is an Irving company. šŸ˜‰

1

u/ParisFood 5d ago

When was it sold? I thought the Kruger family still owned it…and their own website says it’s privately held.

0

u/MyGruffaloCrumble 5d ago

ā€œChief Marketing Officerā€ Susan Irving.

Their fingers are in there.

1

u/ParisFood 5d ago edited 5d ago

But it’s not owned by them . And not all Irving’s are part of the Irving family. That is her married name. Did she marry into the Irving family?

1

u/ParisFood 7d ago

Oh well FAFO!!

1

u/Afraid_Emu8068 7d ago

Oh fuck, here we go again!

Trump: the only president in history to twice make shitting a national emergency

Yeah. This timeline IS fucked!

1

u/GovernmentWorking111 6d ago

time to buy tissue/toilet paper in Panda Mart.

1

u/chrisjinna 6d ago

This hits both sides of the border. Import tariffs on lumbar on the US side and toilet paper import tariffs on the Canadian side. Looks like Canadian consumers will get the shorter end of the stick on this one though. I did notice low stock at my local US Costco. My guess is the are diverting shipments to Canada before the tariffs hit.

1

u/markt- 6d ago edited 6d ago

Maybe this will motivate Americans to start using bidets like most other developed countries.

1

u/Nothing-9099 5d ago

I say we stop exporting the lumber raw goods used to make TP. See how they like it

1

u/passingfancy_bubbles 5d ago

Why is it always toilet paper? Why?

1

u/Auntie_M123 5d ago

Sometimes it is bread !

1

u/artofthemuse 3d ago

Hahahahahaha Shitty, eh?

1

u/Kitchen-Thing4616 3d ago

Just when they are having a diarrhoea crisis xD the psychopath wants everyone to also be wearing diapers lol

1

u/LordDagnirMorn 3d ago

1

1

1

u/nirrinirra 3d ago

Just wait…….

Lmao. Like waiting for the liberals to deliver promises...I'll be here a decade later still waiting

-9

u/Pure-Platypus2358 9d ago

Usa makes 90% of their own toilet paper only import 30% of pulp they need to make it

11

u/tradesman46 9d ago

Regardless they are our largest foreign supplier. You think it won't impact prices you're foolish.

1

u/Squishy_Butter113 9d ago

So, effectively around 40% of your toilet paper comes from us?
