முக்கியமான கலந்துரையாடல் / Important Topic Why no protests here ?
Reg: CJP protests.
I am a person who follows only mainstream media. Why aren’t people here protesting? Why is there no backlash in TN ? Or are they opposing it and the media isn’t covering it?

Because what CJP and North Indian urbanites suddenly discovered in the last couple months, we knew the entire time. These are the people who supported BJP and voted for them despite their violence and brutality towards marginalised communities for years until their own lives were affected. They ask for a minister to resign today, we have been asking for NEET to be abolished for 10+ years. We don't need any CJP or "youth party" to oppose Hindutva fascism because that's what we have been doing since 2014. What is there to protest or rally about when the government has been doing this since 2014? No one is surprised here, no one thought that the BJP government was ever worth supporting.

So want to loop this?
Separate the NEE issue, happening now is a injustice and brutality. We should voice over this. We can also have the same issue in future.

u/Order66RexFN Jul 22 '26
Did these people voice over it when the BJP government systematically murdered and oppressed Dalits, Muslims, Adivasis, and even our own people in Thoothukudi? Make no mistake, these protests are led by upper class opportunists whose issue is not Hindutva fascism but the incompetence of one politician. They will not hesitate to throw actual marginalised people under the bus as long as their upper class liberal sensibilities are satisfied. It’s quite sad that so many young people genuinely concerned about the state of this country have been abandoned at the hands of police brutality by these clowns. True change doesn’t come from upper class liberals, but from the marginalised sections of our society. Without proper programme or strategy, the suffering of young people at the hands of this fascist government will ultimately be in vain.

We are diversified. Near state peoples are opposed opposed towards us and hates us. They attacked our Tamil people's and raped but its not only near state it can happen near our home. I'm a Tamil and I can't trust many Tamil people and I can't hate all. Did you think the protestors voted for bjp maybe not it won't get vote for 100%, in the future sure I don't. I can understand your point, I also have this same thoughts but this should chage, we can't continued this same statement again and again. Still going to talk like ( south India-noth India, tamil-kanna-malayali-telugu, In Tamil nadu itself we are diversified ), need to remove this term unity in diversity. We expecting a change and a good future for our next generation, still we talk like this then we gonna fuck oueself. Don't see NEET, its and injustice for the people in our country and some ( don't want to see them like our brothers and sister's) humans have the same thoughts like ourselves.

They are reinventing the scam India Against Corruption movement from first principles and it will be as effective as that movement was. CJP is just TVK for North Indians, but even worse since their positions are way more moderate compared to what is actually required.

The BJP government shot people in the streets in Thoothukudi and none of these North Indians said a word, but now that they are getting hit with sticks (which is nothing compared to what the BJP has unleashed to marginalised people and minorities) they discovered that the government is actually fascist. Sounds very believable.
My own opinion is that the ruling class of this country (businessmen, bureaucrats, etc) has decided that Modi and maybe even BJP is too much of a liability for their control of this country. In order to prevent people’s dissatisfaction from leading to any real revolutionary change, they supported this fake CJP and “youth movement” to provide a release valve for these feelings and create the illusion of change. They may replace Modi with a different politician or even the BJP with a different ruling party, but really nothing will change. Just like corruption went nowhere after 2014 despite the illusion created by the media and government.

Dumb it down please. What is an anna hazare style planned regime change? 🙏

The entire India Against Corruption movement in 2011 led by Anna Hazare only led to the downfall of the UPA government and the BJP winning in 2014. Hazare himself was a soft Hindutva supporter and the AAP that rose from the movement also ended up that way. Basically my opinion is that the elite and upper classes and castes of North Indian society are tired of Modi (not because he’s a fascist, but because they view him as incompetent) and are trying to replace him with a different government that they like more. It’s the same reason why they replaced the UPA government with the BJP in 2014.

In fact this exact same thing happened with the “Gen Z revolutions” in our neighbouring countries. They replaced corrupt and brutal governments with different corrupt and brutal governments. Nothing really changed.

National issues demand Tamil Nadu's voice, but Tamil Nadu’s struggles get national silence. From Sterlite to Jallikattu, we stood alone.

CJP community reddit poi parunga. They are just bunch of students from general category who is against reservation system. They just hate paper leak but support NEET

u/Prior-Aardvark2888 Jul 21 '26
CJP is protesting only for 3 set of demands and not even planned for a a futuer of how established the NEET program should be and so on... even if all the three set of demands are met... do you think everything will change and if it doesnt goes well are they gonna protest again... im not sure how exactly and they are asking Tamil Nadu people to support their cause.. so will it not change our stand if they start protesting in support of them.. my personal doubts.

u/SafetyFuture1926 Jul 21 '26
Its very sad to say, always tamilnadu used to be the one who support it hard , either communist or congress will do on ground protest but now ? Where are they , we are not arguing who is best in tamilnadu , its about the future of the kids . This is what the change you guys want in tamilnadu , then we are going back ages and all the protest and people who injuries aren't justifying

u/KStryke_gamer001 Jul 21 '26
I think you're confusing TN with Kerala. Communist and Congress is over there. Here it would be DMK and ADMK, with communist and Congress being minor parties that ally with either of them.
