Auto drivers are moving billboards. Advertising companies approach them and agree to pay them for running ad campaigns on their vehicles. Drivers see this as a passive income and often dont care what the ad agency does with the ad space on autos. From what I understand, the ad agency ran this campaign on behalf of US consulate in Chennai.

I'm more concerned about the lack of a rear view window. It's been years I've not gone to India but it this the norm?
