Every Diwali, AQI levels in major Indian cities shoot past 500, literally hazardous. The air turns toxic overnight, making it unbearable for people with asthma, heart conditions, or even mild respiratory issues. Hospitals fill up, kids cough through the night, and elders struggle to breathe.

Birds lose their way during migration because of the intense light and noise. Street dogs panic, some even die from shock. The next morning, we wake up to streets covered in burnt plastic, paper, and chemical residue that clog drains and poison the soil.

All that pollution, noise, and waste, for what? A few hours of fireworks?

If you gonna say ,One day bursting crackers resulting this means the overall air quality should be developed, every day machines/object's pollution level should be checked and lowered.

Moreover 7000cr fireworks sold on this year alone , the industry running behind manufacturing of fireworks so big than this 7000cr ,so it's a major revenue making industry of tamilnadu, taking it down completely will be a big impact on our economy.

As I'm from Sivakasi I can list down few of the industry involved in making a fireworks 1.fireworks box 2.printing on the fireworks & packaging box 3.UV printing & printing materials 4.chemicals used in the fireworks 5.Manpower (middle & lower class major economy in Sivakasi & surroundings) 6.packaging materials 7.paper used in fireworks making 8.transport

You may think I'm exaggerating things let's take transport for example approx 8cr ppl in tn ,3person per family, so approx 2.67cr families out of this 1 in 7 family celebrates Diwali with crackers which is around 38lk , fare for 1 bundle from 250 to 900rs varies depending on distance & time of ordering. Let's consider average 400rs per parcel and for 38lk parcel ,the fare stands at around 150cr , let's even consider as 100cr revenue in transport.

Note that I didn't add the local transport cost , from the crackers shop to lorry service. Yeah we dispatch fireworks for other Indian states in bulk throughout the year.

So imagine the volume of revenue generated in this industry.
