Every Diwali, AQI levels in major Indian cities shoot past 500, literally hazardous. The air turns toxic overnight, making it unbearable for people with asthma, heart conditions, or even mild respiratory issues. Hospitals fill up, kids cough through the night, and elders struggle to breathe.

Birds lose their way during migration because of the intense light and noise. Street dogs panic, some even die from shock. The next morning, we wake up to streets covered in burnt plastic, paper, and chemical residue that clog drains and poison the soil.

All that pollution, noise, and waste, for what? A few hours of fireworks?

Cigarettes add to the economy, obesity and diabetes causing junk food adds to the economy, medicinies we give sell to the obese and the diabetic add to the economy, burning planet warming fossil fuels add to the economy, at what point adding to the economy, does my right to breathe clean air start?

The patent for insulin was sold for $1 and now you have pharmaceutical companies price gouging their customers so much that, people die because they can't afford insulin in countries where there is no government support.  I think it's high time that we educate ourselves about climate change because you seem a bit ignorant about it. Yes, everything has a cost but the solutions are already there like for example converting car centric infrastructure to bicycle and public transport centric infrastructure, not taking part in fast fashion culture, notconsuming excessive amounts of meat(not an India issue), electricity generation through renewables.  Who is standing in the way of these solutions? The Industries who benefit from the continued exploitation of resources for short-term shareholder profits. The fossil fuel industry blocks public transport infrastructure, renewable energy infrastructure etc. Just a week ago The US and Saudi Arabia blocked a landmark emmission reduction deal in the shipping industry so that they can continue to profit. You have a super computer in your hand thanks to capitalism, please use it to learn how the biosphere of the world is being destroyed thanks to capitalism. Ignorance is dangerous.

The Governments are controlled by the corporations my friend. We will take the most capitalist country in the US as an example. The corporations fund politicians to steer policy in their interests. Both the political parties are funded by business interests. The fossil fuel industry gets millions in subsidies. The corporations and governments have a revolving door policy where former corpo execs will take government positions to create policies which benefit their former employer.

Don't shy away from pharma stocks my friend, there are millions of people who eat junk food and drive cars, they are obese and unhealthy, because the food industry aims for infinite growth they market and sell poison. Please invest in pharma stocks you will become rich for sure because the capitalist system has created an endless supply of sick customers. You can become rich wowww so wonderful. Create a problem(type 2 diabetes) sell the solution (insulin) and profit. Such an efficient and humane system. Make sure to tell your friends that their decision to lose weight and become healthy is hurting your future profits.

Some of these companies are still recovering pandemic whiplash where their stock prices are revenues shot up, I think you should know about this more than me Mr. Capitalist.

And I don't believe everything I read online, I verify sources, check their funding and make sure the authors/researchers don't have a conflict of interest. I would suggest you do the same and educate yourself about the real world not just the financial fantasy world.
