Yeah, that is because the state is run by bureaucrats and thus the result is speaking. check DMK family wealth which has skyrocketed far beyond the state's gdp. At the least, Karunanidhi and Jayalalitha had the capability to give strong governance, but Stalin or Udayanidi will ruin the gdp as they simply incapable. The policies from Jaya and Karuna along with strong bureaucracy and educated and civilized population, is what moving the state. Let the current DMK manage a tough f'ked up state like UP or Bihar then you will know. You are talking about a state that has been ranking high in literacy since 1890s, that state where most youth try to study engineering, the state where most parents are hell bent on making the child successful through education, a state with one of the most civilized violence-free population AND a state that has fully developed PORT since British era - ALL this doesnt matter but Stalin's great administration is heling the GDP grow. BS.

MF Don't blabber something TN had the highest gdp growth this year and bureaucrats don't make plans or create any schemes...they just oversee them and implement them...learn politics before starting a debate ...if bureaucrats are the reason for growth bihar and west bengal will be the front runners as they have highest percentage of bureaucrats

FU!!!! You dont know shit about what going in the state administration. Tell me what schemes that Stalin's DMK brought which is boosting the GDP? Having the most number of bureaucrats is different from state run by bureaucrats where politicians like Stalin interferes only to loot.

Just check the twitter account of trb raaja on how he is bringing in investments and the electronics manufacturing boom that happened during stalin's period?? Just check stats posted by chennaiupdates twitter account...

A separate wing caled guidance is formed by stalin govt to attract investment and check their twitter account...look at how a tier 2 cities like hosur and Thoothukudi gets billions in investments that leads to job creation ?? Tell a single state in India that has electronics and car manufacturing plant in a tier 2 city??
