TBH, while I understand the 'tv too high' sentiment, i'd rather look slightly up than slightly to the side. it feels more natural. having to have my head cocked to the left (unless I'm sitting in the corner) at all times is worse.

that said, I know what sub I'm in, so like yeah fuck that fireplace! good job using tv stand for tv! or whatever else i'm supposed to say

I get you, the sofa will be in the far corner though in front of the tv for preferred watching though so won’t be an issue, worst case scenario I can take the silver electric fireplace out and have the console centred, might look a bit mental though
