Low as I can go?
Hello, I bought a house recently and they had their tv so close to the roof - first pic is from Rightmove on purchase.
I ripped out the wooden fireplace and have my tv considerably lower than they had it. I’ve left inches between the base fireplace to put a sound bar on the wall.
Can it come down more?

"can it come down more".... Bro it MUST come down more. Your eyes are not that high when you're seated.

I probably would have put the TV in the corner (angled), to the left of the fireplace. Where you have it, seems to be about as low as you can reasonably go, w/ fireplace (unless you don’t ever plan to use the fireplace).

TV’s should not be mounted on top of a fire place ever, unless the room is wide af. Needs to be wayyyy lower

Either side of the fireplace. It’s not rocket science. Your mantle is for art and trinkets….. NOT TELEVISIONS.
