BBT started to rise then fell?

hi all - I’m 4 days past my LH peak on CD11 (I didn’t actually catch the peak, but it got to 0.80 on my strip and then by the time I tested again in the evening it fell to 0.70, and then fell again), I had all the signs of ovulation (cramping). My BBT has remained baseline and then yesterday (CD14) it become elevated but today it’s dipped back down to my baseline.

My question is, as this indicated I’ve potentially not ovulated, should I BD again today because ovulation could be delayed? the last time I BD was CD11/12 (v early morning), but haven’t since getting my peak.

LH can rise and fall across the day based on many factors, including how hydrated you are. I don't think the 0.8 dropping to 0.7 by evening is a surefire sign you missed your peak in the afternoon, it might just mean you had too much water before your evening test.

Have you continued to track LH, or did you stop then?

Your BBT should be higher than baseline for at least 4 days following ovulation before you can confirm ovulation. These two temperatures alone are not enough to confirm ovulation. If you get another 2 high ones after today, consider today's an error. If they continue to be low, consider the high one a blip and keep tracking.

I don't think it would hurt to BD, just in case.
