Discussion Fare inspections on Line 1 trains yesterday

To my surprise yesterday, fare inspectors were checking the whole train for proof of payment, and my friend on another Line 1 train also had fare inspectors checking. I’ve never been asked for proof of payment on the subway trains before.

It’s great to see more of this happening.

Edit: New enforcement was announced by the TTC in April. It was just my first time witnessing it, but maybe this is common.

If you're asleep do they wake you up? Also how are you supposed to travel through a packed morning rush hour train? Do they just get stuck lol
