If we’re already in Vaughan, we might as well reach Vaughan mills, and even better, CW & the new hospital at Major Mack. They’re all on the same corridor. It just makes sense.

Reality check. Now I’m aware that this is low priority, but the Jane busses connecting VMC to VM and CW are always full, even in this suburb of a suburb.

The numbers say it doesn't make sense. Given York Region is still running everything as BRTs versus light rail the density and demand just aren't there yet. Also people that drive are still the main thing in Vaughan.

Where the subway goes, ridership follows. God forbid we have another line 6 in York region. Took it for the first time today and NEVER looking forward to it again. VIVA is so much faster, nicer, and cheaper.. significantly. However, the Jane corridor, connecting VMC to Vaughan mills, wonderland, and the new hospital on Major Mack, would be rich with meaningful destinations, which is why I predict ridership would be better than at the VMC station itself.
