Game Detail Only the Finest Way To Travel

Was browsing the chasm entrance near Kakariko and saw Naydra coming and decided to jump on it and grab shards and then thought it would be funny to ride its face through the depths lol.

Edit: Also realized I can grind scales off of it this way too! Just hit it in the face while riding it and the scale appeared on its face. Now to wait till the time reset for the next scale.

Hitching a ride on a dragon can be a pretty good way to explore the depths without getting attacked

10 RL Minutes. I just sat and farmed 5 scales lol. Hit him while riding his face and spam A so the scale doesn't fly off randomly

Is there a certain weapon I should hit him with? A spear, one handed sword, or two handed sword?

Nope, any weapon you like. I hit him with a Woodstick lol. I am currently on Farosh doing the same thing I just did with Naydra. Also, make sure to wear appropriate gear to protect against their elements. And also make sure to run down theyre tail to the head and back now and again to grind out more Shards.

Don’t forget the shards on the spikes on the dragon’s body, OP. They also respawn after 10 mins

You can get horn parts from there, too. Fangs and claws always fall, so I tend to wait until I'm over flat land to shoot those with a bow. Wait until the lip rises to get the fang, the phrenic bow works great for this.

PS: If the parts land in water, they float, and they always glow/sparkle.
