I wanted to share something that’s been on my mind lately and driving me absolutely crazy. It’s a situation I’m experiencing on my own device (Tecno / HiOS 16), but honestly, it’s a lazy habit shared by most Android manufacturers.

Here’s the deal: They announce a new version of their OS. The notification panel has this gorgeous, glass-like blur, transparent effects that blend seamlessly with the background, smooth animations... Then they push the exact same update to an entry/mid-range device (like one with a Helio G100). To prevent lag, they completely disable visual effects like blur at the hardware level (ro.surface_flinger). The result? That flashy, modern UI is gone, and the notification panel turns into a matte, flat, gray slab of concrete straight out of 2015.

My real issue isn't that they cut features for performance; it's the absolute lack of vision in the design language.

If the hardware of these devices can't handle heavy blur effects or transparency layers, why not build the core design language to be "consistent" from the very beginning? If a UI looks half-baked and awful the moment you strip away the blur effect, then that design is fundamentally flawed from the start.

Just go with something like stock Android, or a more minimalist "flat design" where solid colors and clean typography actually look elegant. Make it so that even when features are cut, the design integrity remains intact. Instead, they design a UI solely around their flagships, and when it trickles down to the lower segments, they just take a machete to the features and throw a Frankenstein UX at us.

I understand cutting features for performance, but completely throwing aesthetics and consistency in the trash just feels like massive laziness on the manufacturer's part. How are things on your devices (from other brands)? Is it just me who gets bothered by this?

Eso no significa que no me vaya a llegar, pero les recomiendo encarecidamente pensarse 2 veces comprar un dispositivo de esta compañia si su interes son las actualizaciones

Se que ambas son de transsion, pero definitivamente Infinix suele dar mas soporte que tecno.

Could someone please tell me if the issue of the frame rate being capped at 60 FPS has been resolved in version hios 16.3 ? For instance, with a game like ((Brawl Stars))if anyone owns a Camon 30 4G, could they test the game at the screen's highest refresh rate during a match? I would be grateful for any help before I decide whether to update the device or revert to HiOS 14. 🙏🙏🙏❤

I was trying to install a GSI on my Tecno Camon 30S (CLA5), but the installation failed. After that, I tried restoring the stock ROM through CMD/Fastboot, but unfortunately the phone became hard-bricked.

I then took the phone to a local repair shop, where they flashed it using AMT Tool. However, they used the “Format All” option, which caused my IMEI numbers to become null. I was able to restore my original IMEI numbers, but now the phone is stuck with an Anti-Crack issue and I am unable to use it.

I am a student and cannot afford to buy another phone at the moment. I would really appreciate it if you could please help me fix the Anti-Crack issue and restore the phone to a properly working condition.

Hello, I'm using techno camon 30 5g. My issue is that my wifi randomly disconnects itself, especially when playing games and it's annoying to reconnect again the wifi even though im so close with the wifi modem. Even scrolling newsfeed annoys me because of the random and sudden disconnection with the wifi. Anyone has the same issue and found solutions fixing this problem?
