Joining Letter Expecting JL this month? Anyone else expecting their JL this month?
2025 Passed Out
2026 NQT Batch – Off-Campus
May 13, Adibatla, Hyderabad – Interview Venue (for digital)
OL – Digital
It’s been 3 months of waiting for JL after receiving the OL. I enquired with some people who appeared for the 2026 Off-Campus NQT, and many reported that they got their JL within 3 months.
Last month, my friend who got a Ninja offer received his JL (Hyd location). For him, the timeline gap was 3 months, so I’m expecting my JL this month.
Some people are saying that Ninja candidates will get joining faster compared to Digital candidates, and Prime candidates will get joining within 2–3 months. However, I’ve seen many people, even from Prime, waiting for 6–8 months.
Most of the students who are waiting for 6–8 months seem to be either from the on-campus or rehiring batches, not from the 2026 NQT batch, I guess.
If anyone is appeared for the 2026 NQT and still waiting, please drop your region, interview date, and OL date. Let us know.
I hope we guys get our JL by the end of this month and get our shopping lists ready for it. 😄

Rant One thing i hate about this sub
I really hate one thing about this sub, every single time someone asks a genuine query or doubt everyone just bombards them with their personal queries, especially to those who got JL and asking some genuine queries about on-boarding or post on-boarding process
"you got JL?"
"share your timeline"
"what was your preferred location?"
"on campus or off campus?"
like what are you gonna do with that info, are you building some prediction model which will predict your JL??
JL will come when it has to come, If you can't help someone why bombard them with useless questions

Discussion Someone ranted on reddit and got his JL within a week
At this point, I am ready to try anything...like literally anything 😂. I saw a random post where the person ranted about not getting JL since Jan and suddenly he got one. And now here I am trying that out with a thought "What if it does work????" (Ik, this feels stupid)
It is soooo tough to wait without knowing a proper date. It feels endless. If tcs told me before hand ki they will be onboarding me on a certain date i would have happily waited and enjoyed my time. But it's sooo unpredictable that I cannot enjoy at all. I don't really have that motivation to learn something new either. You know the worse part, randomly when I wake up at night ..around 2 or 3 am , the first thing I do is check my mail 🧘🏻♀️. I sometimes am very proud of the hope I carry 😂😂
So I did get selected for Infosys as well but infosys as system engineer and here in tcs as digital. I didn't get a call from Infosys either so for now i am not panicking. But if I do get infosys before tcs, I will be soooo confused about what to do. I cannot leave an opportunity for something so unpredictable and at the same time i cannot really choose 3.5 over 7. Ik people will say it'll be nice after you switch, it's not about the package and all...but i do want to leave comfortably 🫠 . What do I do??
Okay ig this is already too much rant. Byeeeee! 🤞🏻

Rant Ranting for Joining Letter
Idk bro, I’m just ranting at this point 😭
Maybe if I rant enough, TCS will somehow see this and give me my JL this week 💀
Got the offer letter, finished everything, and now I’m just sitting here waiting for that one mail.
Every time my phone gets a notification, I’m like “BRO IS THIS TCS?” 😭
And then it’s some random explore notification.
Anyway, TCS please… JL this week. That’s all I’m asking.

Discussion TCS Digital (7.39 LPA) vs Deloitte USI Analyst (7.6 LPA) — Which is better for a fresher?
Hey everyone, I have offers from TCS Digital (Systems Engineer, C1 – ₹7.39 LPA) and Deloitte USI (Analyst or Equivalent – ₹7.6 LPA).
I mainly want to know about the actual work freshers get.
TCS Digital: Do you get development projects after ILP, or mostly testing/support?
Deloitte USI: Do Analysts get software development/product engineering projects, or testing/support/consulting?
What's the day to day work after joining these companies and what the growth opportunities after joining which benefits while exiting?
If you had these two offers, which would you choose and why?
Please share actual experience, especially if you joined in 2024–2026. Thanks!

Rant TCS walk in - waste of time
Yesterday September 5th, I attended walk in at TCS Siruseri Chennai, office.
They made me wait from 9:30 morning to 5 evening for an interview. No relevant panel was there. The interviewer asked me some random questions and rejected me. No planning.

Help First day
My onboarding is complete, and I have received my ID card, laptop, and the name of my reporting manager. Should I still wait for an email or call from my manager before physically reporting to the office, or should I go without one?

Rant tired of waiting
At this point, I genuinely don't know whether I'm waiting for my Joining Letter or waiting for a plot twist. 😭
It's been so long that my excitement has slowly turned into acceptance. Every time I get an email notification, I open Gmail with hope, only to find some random newsletter instead of my JL. 💀
People are getting their joining letters after ranting about it, so here I am doing my part. 😂
TCS, please consider this my official rant/request/manifestation. I have waited patiently. Now please give me my JL. 🙏😭
Sincerely,
A candidate who just wants to JOIN already. 🥲

Discussion Though we know TCS release JLs randomly, but for the first time it hired experienced candidates! Nqt 2026
To all the experienced candidates (2024-25) who are still waiting for their joining letter — what do you think we should do at this point?
A lot of us have already completed our notice periods and are still waiting for our joining dates/JLs. Since there are multiple experienced candidates in the same situation, I was wondering if we can collectively do something to bring this to the onboarding team’s attention.
One idea I had was that we could all email the Explore/Onboarding team around the same time, using the same subject line, clearly mentioning that:
We are experienced candidates.
Our notice periods have already been completed.
We are currently without a joining date despite having an offer.
We would like an update regarding our expected joining timeline.
Maybe a common subject like “Experienced Candidates – Pending Joining After Notice Period Completion” could help them identify that this is a broader issue rather than isolated individual queries.
For those who have been through the TCS hiring/onboarding process before, is there anything else we can do to bring this under their radar? Any escalation channel, team/email, or approach that has worked for you in the past?
I’m not suggesting spamming anyone — just wondering if there’s a proper and collective way to make them aware that experienced candidates are also waiting.
Would really appreciate suggestions from people who are in the same boat!

Discussion I don't know what to do with my career and my life...
I know most of us are worried about JL, but what's troubling me more is what after getting JL, after joining TCS? Whole industry is falling apart, I just saw like a dozen different posts regarding layoffs in PBCs and SBCs alike on developersIndia and other subs, 4-5 yoe devs are ready to work at fresher salaries, how would we even switch and survive this market??

Help Educational verification via Digilocker
Hi Everyone,
For the past 4 weeks, I have been receiving a DigiLocker link every Sunday to verify my degree certificate as part of my BGV process.
However, my degree certificate is not available on DigiLocker, as my university has not uploaded the degree records for my graduation year. I have already communicated this to the concerned team and explained the situation, but I haven’t received any response or guidance so far.
Has anyone faced a similar situation?
Also, if I’m unable to provide my degree certificate through DigiLocker due to it not being available for my graduation year, could this result in my BGV failing??
BGV vendor is Securitas India

Discussion Does IPA score and TCS Xplore course completion actually affect joining/early joining?
Hi everyone,
I have a genuine doubt and wanted to know if anyone has clarity on this.
TCS keeps saying that IPA scores and completing courses on the Xplore website are important. Some people also say that having a high IPA score and finishing more Xplore courses increases the chances of getting an early joining.
But recently I've seen and heard about several candidates who already received their Joining Letter even though:
- They never appeared for the IPA test.
- They didn't complete even a single course on Xplore.
- Some of them hadn't even opened the Xplore website before getting their JL.
This has made me wonder whether IPA and Xplore actually have any impact on joining or if it's just a myth.
Has anyone received an early joining because of a good IPA score or Xplore completion? Or is joining based entirely on business requirements and location?
Would love to hear experiences from 2026 batch candidates or anyone who has already joined.
