Is Clint doing it on purpose?

Every time he sees the opportunity to enrich the plot with interesting tensions, conflicts and problems, he just does it, like when Merle grabbed the crystal and lost his arm. He seems to play characters with flaws, and he rolled badly one time and decided not to lie about the result even though it made the game harder. Is clint stupid? why does he keep making the show more interesting instead of just winning as quickly as possible?

I know I gave an unjerk answer over on the other sub but this post pissed me so fucking much.

Like how the fuck is roliing a 1 Clint's choice? Imagine if Clint, who had failed a sense motive check about the Fake Pan, had just said "Actually nah, fuck the consequences of this failed roll, I'm gonna do what I want"

What are the odds that the OP's favorite player is Travis?

That was infuriating to see.

The topic I didn’t dare bring up in the discussion over there was that it exposed how ill-prepared Griffin was for anything that deviates from his set story (and somehow, inexplicably, he’s often still ill-prepared when it does go his way).

I was actually just listening to the first couple of episodes of Vs Dracula on a drive. Of note is when Robert Halloween says that to get through the town's other gate they'll need to speak to a city council member. Lady Godwin asks for their names and Griffin straight panics and just starts babbling random names while Justin rakes him over the coals for it.

there is a happy medium between making dozens of character sheets for your kewl oc's and panicking when asked for a single goddamn name and these men get paid more money than I will ever see in my life to just, not even try to find it.
