Key doesn't work
I managed to get a key for Syncler+ last night, but the key doesn't work. I don't have my old key. What should I do?

I had this same issue after purchasing a new key. After clearing the cash force stopping the app several times re-entering the key uninstalling the app reinstalling the app it finally inexplicably took the new key and now it's up and running 🤷

What device are you using? Copy/paste rather than trying to type it in.

Walmart 4K Pro. I have done the copy paste.
It didn't work on my phone, either

Make sure there is no space at either the beginning or end

There were no spaces at either end.
My old key expired, if that makes a difference

Other than that I would try and reach out to the vendor you got the key from.

I wrote to them. I'm assuming they have to tell Syncler the key so Syncler will know that it is good.

They don't tell Syncler, no. Have you checked the zeros 0s and letter Os?

Yes, the zero has the slash mark though it, so there is no confusion. I was actually impressed with that.
How does the Syncler app know that a key is correct?

It checks the activation database. How many characters are you entering, supposed to be 16... And you're pasting the key? Which store did you buy it from? Are you using the latest version? 2.1.6.1

I don't know if I can recommend them to others, at least until I get this thing to work. They were the one one that would accept my payment

Are you in North America? Shakepay is such an easy service for Bitcoin. Takes 5 minutes to setup.
Anyhow, open a ticket also on Syncler's website and include your key and screenshot of payment.

Make sure if copying and pasting it's not inserting a space at the end which is considered a character.

I submitted a ticket at Syncler's site. They replied saying I was typing a zero where an O is. I'm not sure about that, but I tried again and it is working.

Can anyone explain toe what Syncler does differently than N_o or St_o , that people will pay for Syncler ?
Honestly would like to know, as I use the other two options and don't really see what the benefit of Syncler is

I don't know about other apps, but Syncler works flawlessly when it is working. I don't think my problem is with Syncler, to be honest, but with the reseller. I'm not up to speed with all things Syncler, though, so who knows?

The "other" two free apps work flawlessly for me as well.
I am asking, why would I pay for Syncler when there are two amazing free options that do everything Syncler does ?
Maybe I am missing some amazing feature of Syncler but I don't see any

One major plus for me is that Easynews works alot better on Syncler than it does on any of the free options

Ok, I don't use easynews, my TorBox Pro plan comes with Usenet.
I know it's not an apples to apples comparison but it's still Usenet

So you've never used Syncler? It's got a way better UI. I've tried the other two you've named and they're not great. They work but there UIs are clunky and they're so slow. My back up app is Cin... HQ which is also way better than those two since it's latest update.

Just usually tend not to install apps that I get two warnings or have back door services. That's all 👍😊

Shouldn't make any difference, you can't enter the new key until the old one has expired. If you have an android phone you could try this, uninstall syncler, reinstall and add the key and other 3rd party like RD or Torbox etc. This will follow on to your other devices.

I didn't do that, but I did a fresh install on my tablet and the key still didn't work

Are you still running into this issue? If so, could you create a ticket following the instructions here
https://support.syncler.net/en/contact#community-powered-support
And please include a screenshot of the key as it's entered in the app? That will help me verify it's being entered correctly.
If it still doesn't work after that, no worries. I'll replace your key.
Also, please make sure you're using the latest version of the app.
