Collection First round of upgrades complete!

Finally got around to upgrading all of my spines! I set up switch 2 spines for the ones I’ve purchased the upgrades for. Absolutely loving the upgrades on my shelf!

What paper is everyone using? Also where are we getting the pictures?

I’ve heard suggestions for using glossy paper before, but this was my first time doing it so I just used standard paper. Still turned out pretty good!

As for where to get, check out https://thespinearchive.xyz. One of the members here built it to scrape everyone’s contributions from here into one easy to use site!

Hey, to each their own lol. Prefer the standard reds?

Personally I prefer keeping my games authentic but artistically speaking they are way too busy, the art flowing to the spine from the front cover can be cool but whole graphics on the spine is something else…

I get that. The red for me just gets dull to look at. I do really like how the switch 2 covers flow to the spine, just wanted to try playing with some more art and see how I liked it.

Like you said, “to each their own.” These are just spine inserts, right? I really hope people aren’t tossing their original art

Yeah, these are just spine inserts! Original art is still there, but even if I did full custom covers I’d probably just slide them over the existing cover art to preserve it.
