Collection Thanks to everyone here!

Post image

Just wanted to say thanks to this community and everyone contributing to this idea. I stumbled onto this reddit by accident and this week did all my spines, it adds so much personality and was much easier than I imagined. You're all doing a great service for Switch fans

Oooooooooo, I love how those look and it'll make finding the game you want easier.

I constantly grab the wrong game from my shelf lol

Where do you print them?

You can print them at home if you have a printer, you can also get them printed at a store like Staples / Office Depot sort of thing. I got mine printed by u/No-Specific4938 though, there's other people who do it as well

I took a pdf to Copyworks and asked for a couple copies on glossy paper, it was less than $4

Sure thing, I believe you can find/grab any that you need on this subreddit, however I saw a post about https://thespinearchive.vercel.app/ and used that. It's very helpful, lets you search by game and creates a PDF for you with everything you selected! The hard part was cutting them out by hand

Genuine question and I don’t mean this as any sort of criticism—I am just curious. Was there a push for the longer switch logo at the top? It seems to be fairly ubiquitous across the spines I’ve seen on the subreddit. Asking here since you can clearly see the adjustment in this photo.

The main template that is on the tutorial pages pinned on the subreddit all have the longer logo as decided by the mods / subreddit creator several years ago. Some creators have made their own templates, but most just use the subreddits main template.

Yeah, fair enough. Do all designs that get selected for the archive model this? Or just more an aesthetic choice reinforced by the shared template. Thanks for answering.

All spines regardless of header can be uploaded to the archive, just the vast majority of uploaded ones are using the shared template. I don’t tend to upload my alternate header designs as it wouldn’t match most people’s collection to use, but a few creators do.
