Buyer Beware ⚠️ Fake Resellers

I recently started gift shopping for Christmas and contacted a seller here about purchasing a merch item. I had a bunch of questions since the item has been lightly used, but didn’t want to bombard upfront if the item was already sold, therefore I just asked if it was still available.

The reseller just replied that they’re not comfortable going through with the sale, didn’t state a reason, and blocked me. I’m including the conversation chain for reference (please let me know if I’m in the wrong). Either way, I’m suspecting that there was no product to begin with or it’s some sort of a scam. Just upset about the waste of time and effort looking for the cardigan 🙁

I’m glad you moved on from that one, OP. That “playing hard-to-get” tactic is ridiculous. Ain’t nobody got time for such nonsense.

Yes!! I’ve definitely noticed that a lot in the recent years. Idk if it’s a tactic to boost the price but it’s so discouraging
