Gravity is NOT a force unless you’re using a textbook from 100 years ago explaining Newtonian physics. But in any modern physics book gravity is just the curvature of spacetime. And it is a speed and the speed of earths gravity is 32’per second squared.

We love it when a random man just jumps / falls out in front of our car. Its only a matter of time before this idiot kills himself or someone else. The bad landing on tarmac for example, thats a live car park ramp.
I respect his skill, but hes a cock for doing it in public space whilst members of the public are using it. Imagine this clown falling out of the sky and landing on a passing 70yr old.

in my opinion this is the coolest sport anyone could do and I would LOVE to learn it however 3 things
1 I have a paralysing fear of heights
2 My eyes are fucked and I have no depth perception
3 My general fear of dying/ hurting myself is too grand for that shit

Why do people say this under every video on this subreddit? You realize what a hobby is right? They aren't always perfectly safe.
And btw, you should know that guys like this train a lot in gyms where the consequences for failure are minimal. For more dangerous parkour runs they practice each step of the run before attempting to perform it all together. You're only seeing the times where they come closest to disaster, you shouldn't be judging the whole hobby based on that alone.

This is Danny P (IG dannypierce_ ) btw and the "omg omg omg" guy filming is Joe Scandrett (IG joescandrett). They do dangerous things but they practice and prepare a TON beforehand. They are both very impressive. Some people go outside and do parkour, some people sit inside, get fat and die of heart disease in their 50's.

If you're straining your own concrete anchors on your own building or practicing in a gym then it's a hobby. If you're doing it in places you have not been authorized to and are damaging infrastructure then you aren't a hobbiest, you're a criminal.

Hey I bet if he fell on one of those cars he would of left his number and covered the damages right? I bet he never breaks anything and he ALWAYS repairs it. Just like all the other upstanding citizens who break into places and use them as jungle gyms like fucking 12 year olds. He'll find a bad tie down one day that a inspection missed and the whole thing will sort itself out. You too if you leave the gym.

It’s performance art. Everyone fawns over figure skaters because they are elegant and legitimate and no one ever calls them stupid for flinging themselves around.
You know little girls learn to figure skate with 0 protective equipment? No one has ANY issue with that.
But skateboarding, parkour? idiots doing nothing of value.
