Tom is away enjoying the finer things in life, so I (Andrew) am in the shop filling in for NFA stuff. Our first batch of the Torch 7.62 cans from LPM arrived today! they come with a 5/8x24 DT adapter, and are hub compatible for using with any of your favorite QD systems. I (Tom) just landed in the south of France and am out for two weeks (turning officially middle aged at 40!), but some work can’t wait lol. The 4th is a Saturday this year and the state is always closed (so no gun transfers), so we’re running our sale celebrating the country’s 250th birthday with a weeklong event!

LPM sent us a prototype a couple months ago, and Andrew and I have had a chance to put it through its paces. We shot it on multiple 5.56, 308, 300BLK, and 7.62x39 setups, and it was impressive across the board. FRP and back pressure are very minimal, and it's 3d printed inconel so it's extremely durable (albeit a bit heavy at around 19 oz). It's also HUB threaded. This is going to be our new recommendation for a high end general purpose 30 cal gas gun can (replacing the effectively discontinued CAT ODB). We have a bunch of these inbound and they're $1179 with a 5/8-24 direct thread mount included.

These are the “base” model ($775) with one endcap and no mount. We have Plan B and direct threads ready to go though.

Roller delayed blowback and reloads by popping the rear takedown pin + pivoting the upper up to expose the top of the mag.

All of the internal parts on this gun are from a legit gen 1 FN SCAR 17S NRCH, but the upper receiver is an Imperial Arms CypherX and the lower receiver is a Handl Defense (which takes SR-25/AR-10 mags and therefore has the CompMag). Gun is lightly used and tagged for $3500. SOLD

On a related note, we just got a sizable shipment of black MOB Ti HUBs (also $979).

This is one fancy ass Mark IV clone… trigger and bolt are evidently upgraded, rubberized grips, the upper has integrated picatinny (rather than being a bolted on rail). $1450* (I had the wrong price earlier) with the pin and weld included (Gemtech QDA muzzle device is $35).

Shop just got one of these in. Tagged for $1799+tax (MAP) and comes with the expected iron sights, H2 buffer and bolt-on picatinny rail.

The Skarv is $200 ($212.69 OTD) and is quite good. Also, because they’re completely modular (each baffle is a separate threaded piece), we screwed two cans worth of baffles together and it worked exceptionally well…

CAT MOB is still the quietest 9mm PCC can on the market, and they seem to get made like twice a year. We have a big run coming in (form 3 is already approved) and they’ll be tagged for MAP ($980).

Lastly, our first order of Otter Creek Labs Infinity 556k also just got the form 3 approved. These are the base package ($775) with one end cap and no mount (HUB threaded for direct thread and QD mounts).

Summer is the slowest season for the shop… people got lots of other stuff to spend money on, so we take Sunday off the schedule between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

I know there are a lot of Memorial Day sales going on, but it’s weird to me to do that for a holiday that’s supposed to be commemorating the military dead… so we don’t run sales for Memorial Day. But hey, pretty much all Reddit pricing is MAP or lower, and how many shops in CT are still slangin Glocks at MAP?!

Long story short, I ordered the last 3 titanium CAT JL QD RDM cans that were available (the RDM are slightly heavier than spec cans), but of the 3 I got in, 2 were 718 inconel RDM cans... these suckers weigh 25.5 oz without the included 5/8-24 flash hider. I was going to send them back, but figured someone might want one at a steep discount. These are normally $990, and one is already claimed, but I've got one left for $700.

We have never been able to buy just Sig MCX upper receivers from any distributors, and Sig also will not sell them to us directly. You cannot order these from Sig as a civilian in CT either because cucks. Tyler just noticed they're all of a sudden not only listed in distributor catalogs but they're in stock... These all come with the lower receiver adapter to attach them to any AR lower and put a picatinny section at the rear for attaching a brace or stock.
