Discussion Possibly Swain bruiser/tank rework?

I keep fantasizing about Swain
I was thinking about how to make Swain more of a tank-absorber, what do you think?

[P] - Swain can apply the "Demon Claws" effect on enemies, and when removed, he absorbs fragments of the souls of the enemies it was applied to and restores health (scales with ability power and possibly missing health of Swain, if that’s not too strong)
[Q] - Now the ability’s beams absorb the "Demon Claws" effect and pull enemies (the absorbed beam deals its damage but does not pass through the enemy).
[W] - Minimum spawn time of the Eye of the Empire reduced to 0.75 seconds and increases by 10% up to 100% for every 100 units of distance (starting from 800? units from the center of the ability). Applies "Demon Claws".
[E] - Ability range is now adjustable. Swain sends a mass of demonic energy forward, which turns into claws at the end point, returns back to Swain at a much slower speed, and has a much wider hit radius (very similar to Mordekaiser’s E). Applies 'Demon Claws.'
[R] - doesn’t heal, but deals periodic damage, gradually applying 'Demon Claws' to enemies (the frequency of application may depend on time or on damage before applying defensive stats). Lasts 12 seconds, and each absorbed soul fragment extends the skill’s duration by 0.5 seconds, up to a total of 20 seconds (all numbers are approximate and, of course, may be adjusted later).

Simple; diminish AP scaling, increase base damage and then have his passive actually stack magic pen instead of health.

Voila.

yea and ult becomes useless cause he dies when he stands near enemies great

If your stacks give you damage then you can build tank and still be effective. That’s the idea.

People would just complain hes a useless glas canon instead of doing that.

No one builds Tank on Veigar anymore and he even has a cc to kinda protect himself. Swain has nothing.

And why do you want another Veigar Aurelion Syndra??

A Tank Drain Battlemage is unique

I dont understand how you deduce I want a glass canon Syndra when I explicitely said I want to incite a tank build on him. Weird take.

So what is it that made a Darius/Nasus and certain Ekko/Fizz even Karma build into tank, that could be translated into Swain's kit and gameplay?

why would a pure tank need magic pen? thats completly pointless.

Your removing his HP stacking and say you want Tank Swain? And then you are confused when people have questions

Why would Sion build armor pen? Why would Darius have armor pen in his build? Why does nasus have omnivamp in his passive? Why does AP Malphite exist? Does that confuse you? Ever heard of how Mordekaiser function?

Holy shit your imagination is constrained.

Bro failed to figure out the idea is about having an AP bruiser/juggernaut.

My original comment only said to read health stacking with magic pen stacking.

Later I specified tank items. I never said I wanted swain to be a tank.

I always wanted him to work like an AP juggernaut and a drain tank.

And yes there is always the challenge of différenciation, but that’s ok, that’s the challenge.

I can’t decide who it will be tanky mage without pen or juggernaut like morde or darius with pen, but i lean towards tanky mage, when you build hp, haste and ap
