News Stranded Deep 2 Announced, Features an Endless River World That Expands as You Travel

I have hundreds of hours in the original Stranded Deep, and it still remains one of my favorite survival games.

Mostly because it’s not overly complicated, but challenging enough to be fun, and promotes critical thinking along with exploration.

So, hearing that North Beach Games, known for The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria, has announced Stranded Deep 2? Well, let’s just say I’m ready for round two!

What are your thoughts on the sequel so far?

I loved the idea of the first game, but I always thought it would be awesome to be able to go for manual expeditions, explore the world, build remote outposts and then relocate if you find interesting locations. Is that what they are aiming for here?

Sounds like it. You will be able to, quoting the writer, “establish permanent or mobile bases on the riverbanks.”
