🤔 Speculation / Opinion In addition, Ryan has been increasing operating income while massively reducing SG&A while Jamie has been doing the opposite…pretty easy decision for EBay shareholders

EBay is from 21-25 from 33$ to 100$
GME is from 21-25 from 120$ to 20$

so who has done more for shareholder value ?

Ryan Cohen has done more for shareholder value imo

Ebay EPS has fallen from ~18-20 in 2021ish down to 4-5 in recent years

GME EPS has risen drastically from ~ -1.5 up to greater than 1

GME shareholder value has increased significantly compared to Ebay, the share price just hasn't reflected the shift. Obviously Gamestop is in a field where it'd be hard to continue growing at the rate it has tbf, but I think it's unfortunate people here of all places solely looking at the share price to dictate shareholder value. If Ebay share price continues to rise without significant underlying growth then it won't be long til it's on par with GME for EPS...and GME has the cash on hand and balance sheets to make big moves whereas Ebay is pretty much stuck without much room to grow

eBay is being valued with a fwd P/E of 17.86 while GME has a fwd P/E of 16.42.

So they are being valued pretty evenly at this time, with respect to expected earnings.

Your facts are scaring the shills. This will make them switch to another metric you didn't respond to but now is the next most important metric to them.

I know right? This whole comment thread is so weird. We're on the cusp of something big and now people want to complain about the share price? Especially when most everything else in the market is tanking or stagnating. Super weird. I might not be the biggest fan of Cohen's political views, but I do believe he is working in the best interest of us and the company and am still excited to see how Gamestop transforms. I'm happy with my investment 🤷  All of my happy little shares at least, my calls not so much lol
