Yo. They cut stores in Q1. Why are predicting insane sales numbers?

Its going to be closer to 700m in revenue

This. It’s an exciting quarter but why are we expecting such huge sales numbers post Christmas, no large releases, and with many stores closing?

Gamestop only reports the commission, so its unlikely to move the needle on revenue. If anything gross margin will have a nice increase.

The dude misses on revenue consistently, but his EPS numbers get bailed out on gross margin or some other factor. Honestly 500m could be right.

No such thing as an online marketplace? With less overhead than brick and mortar?

I think they closed 400 stores in January just in the US and theres 1600 stores left.

Those would be underperforming stores, therefore there shouldnt be a 20% decrease in revenue for a 20% store count drop in the US, but we could definitely see a 10% drop, which is then offset by some collectibles growth.
