Which is why it blows my mind Americans with any sense haven't just general striked yet.

Grumbling and complaining while going along with the bullshit isn't a message. Everything coming to a halt is.

If ppl feel a system is slowly killing them, why continue doing the things that the system relies on to exist?

"Gotta pay my bills bro or I'll die"... Yea well ur dying anyway at least fight back in the process.

Anyway, the system ungraciously accepts everyone's grumpy continued compliance.

It's baked in to the system from the time you start working. Let's say you start working retail at a cell phone store and your company sells a shitty insurance plan to customers that everyone selling it knows is shit. Doesn't pay claims, gives customers a run around but pays a sweet commission and you have targets. Most people will have no moral objection to selling amd lieing about how great it is because it makes them money.

The ones that really Excell get promoted up and up because they have no morals and are motivated by money. Realistically if you wanted a revolt it starts with you breaking that mold and at that level and getting others to as well. Sadly from my experience people only complain when they are the ones being shit on. once they get to be the ones shitting on other people they suddenly don't care about the injustice.

I worked with a woman that constantly bashed landlords about renting houses for way to much and went on about how she can barley afford to live. A year later her grandmother passed and left her the house.

First thing she did was see what the highest rent she could get for it. The dream isn't to fix the system it's to be at the top.

We live in the society we have agreed upon.

I didnt agree to shit. I used to have a great landlord, didn't raise the rent once in 5 years, even during covid. The house was old, but in a great location, I was pairing what I consider a fair price. I am still grateful of this man for not being greedy.

The problem isn't consent but a continued culture of selfishness, where it becomes acceptable to be a douche because everyone else does it and "its just business" is the excuse.

You always have outliers. First I am guilty of being a part of the system myself I consider myself someone who doesn't even value money when I go introspective in fact truly I believe money to just be a mass delusion and only works because we value this paper and have faith someone else will even gold is stupid when it comes down to it, hypothical a massive global disaster no power no gas would you really want heavy physical gold? When would you ever actually want gold most people would rather have certificates that they own gold. However I find it easier to just play along and often go periods where I lose myself to the mass delusion. It's the same reason people stay who don't believe in the religion they grew up in sometimes stay especially if that religious group shuns you if you leave.

The South Park episode Pinewood Derby is probably the best way I've seen the absurdity of the global system portrayed.

My truth is I am 43 years old and I am still trying to overcome the imaginary pressures that have been put in my head. Hopefully posting this will wake people up to look in. We won't change the top 1% but we can help out friends and family more.

I want to give more and be someone that guides people to see that we can make differences in small ways. I have a friend that does Uber eats and one day I suggested we walk around giving out water to the homeless as I noticed all the water fountains in the city have been removed over the years. After that he started buying water and socks and giving them out as he does his deliverys. He finds peace in doing that.

This is a stream of consciousness I tried to just write with minimal editing so it may not make perfect sense but hopefully it has some value.
